Jamie Gittens joins Chelsea
For me one of Gittens or Mudryk has to go out on loan. On quality, frankly I am not bothered which one goes out and which one stays

Missed this one today, at a tournament with the kids. Sounds like a great game, 6 points whilst navigating this Enzo drama is a cracking start. Obviously loads to improve and im sure 1 or 2 new faces in the next 48 hours.

Morgan Rogers
Are we seriously blaming Rogers for the hopeless defending? Their first goal was on Neto charging out like an idiot with an already exposed defence because everybody pushed too high up. All he had to do was contain and hold the Brighton player up until support arrived.

Pedro Neto *Official*
Certainly didn't play like a player that was leaving or looking to leave.

Alonso left the door open for his sale by refusing to confirm if he was staying beyond the window.

Moises Caicedo to Chelsea! "Official"
Same as Kante, world class but often broke down.
-
Xabi Alonso - New Chelsea Manager
We're reminding me very much of Kevin Keegan's Newcastle at the moment and that's no bad thing. Really enjoying the football which I haven't been able to say for quite a while.

Moises Caicedo to Chelsea! "Official"
Do you believe we have a serious chance to get Ruiz, Sconnie?

As things stand our back 3 vs Arsenal might be best to be Acheampong, Lacroix and Hato.

Chelsea vs Brighton & Hove Albion (Premier League) Sunday 30th August — 14:00 BST Stamford Bridge
Match highlights: That defending as a team after the first 3 goals.... That last goal pi$$es me off, shockingly bad, poor attention. Grateful it did not matter though. Aside from our traditional rivals, Leeds, Arsenal, Spurs, beating Brighton is one of the most enjoyable.

Jamie Gittens joins Chelsea
Can’t see where he get mins from, and they will need to take a big hit on his value when he is loaned out next season
-
Xabi Alonso - New Chelsea Manager
I think when you look at other teams with new managers and how they have started, Alonso has done really well.

Yep, move Hato there. No passengers. If u ain’t pulling ur wait f**k right off till you are.
-
Morgan Rogers
Even their first goal.. was him.

Xabi Alonso - New Chelsea Manager
No signs to panic yet but I thought we got away with it against Fulham and Brighton. Both had chances to equalise late on. You get away with it for so long but your luck will run out eventually. Team seem happy and confident though so it’s something to build on. Arsenal will be a big test

I feared a Danny Welbeck equaliser

Still, one of the worst and most stupid rules in football.

Rule change last season, if maguires shot goes in direct then it doesn’t count, because it was heading towards the corner flag and deflected in it counts, im sure we had one last season

Yes, well. MU. 3-1. Premature ejaculation.

This must be the most pathetic excuse for letting a goal stand. Ball went it after a blatant handball, why does it matter the shot was deflected or not? Absolute disaster of a rule.

What a bo**ocks rule. Handball, clear as day, but not given because it's an own goal. Only the PGMOL could come up with something so ludicrous.
-

The handball rule is so stupid.

That’s absolute bo**ocks. It’s handball!

Only a matter of time before they go behind if Ipswich don't get their act together. Miss of the season contender though.
