  3. I am not sure it is a case of overhyping academy products at all. What i do think is that if we had asked somebody outside of our Chelsea bubble to name the 16 year old player out on the pitch last night a significant number would have picked Estevao, who absolutely looks like a a youth product struggling to come to terms with the physical side of senior football. I don't think the lad disgraced himself by any means and, as an example, was demonstrably better than both Gusto and Gittens. In a team bereft of durable midfield players i would not have a problem if he were brought on from the bench for cameo performances in some situations.
  4. Could go either way. United are very up and down but City struggled to beat Coventry. Hope for a spicy games with a narrow United win and a few red cards, one being Enzo.
  5. He’s starting to learn who can be trusted and who can’t
  6. He’s still a human irrespective of his ability as a footballer
  7. Im hoping Alonso migrates to 4-2-3-1. with one of the back four acting as wing back periodically Estevao starting front four (3&1)Estevao Palmer Rodgers Pedro any order and position you like. This should give excitement without excessive risk.
  8. As much as we all wish failure for City and the 2 Enzos, they are a strong team and likely will beat United.

  12. I thought bar the mistake for the second goal that he was pretty good last night. I think he'll complement Caicedo well in midfield, and he gets stuck in.

  14. Sissoko giving away a penalty after about 40 seconds made me feel better
  15. I really can't support either of them! I hate them both! 😬
  16. Although that Spurs v Liverpool CL final will always take some beating.

  18. Going to be the greatest hatewatch ever.
  19. Exactly that, it was designed to placate the clubs who were looking a the super league money, same as they are now looking at giving certain teams a free inclusion in the CL no matter where they finishing their domestic leagues. Which means they keep the money, means they can then carry on taking players from any other teams and hold their place at the top of the table.
  20. Today

  21. It's called "dial up" Wednesdays.
  22. I would put Billy Mcculloch in there ahead of Gusto
  23. I certainly agree on the good thought Rogers looked top drawer at times with his running on the ball offensively. Palmer look close to his best and good to see this. Neto seem to link up with them well too. Welbeck took his goals well and is good to see early in his career at SB.
  24. Wasn't convinced when we signed him yet credit to him for taking his chances. Good also to have an alternative for Pedro.
  25. Poch couldnt open a bottle with the bottle opener and if he could, he'd bottle opening it. The usless C**t
  26. Poch moaning but perfectly ok with the USA president overturning a red card for one of his players. Selective outrage
  27. Knew he'd be a reliable signing. Welbeck - 3 goals in 3 games. Delap - 2 goals in 41 games.
  28. Twat didn’t even stop to consider why none of the Top 6 clubs are kicking up a fuss. Our “undisclosed payments” to agents and offshore accounts are the exact same grey‑area dealings every major club in Europe relies on, and the last thing any of them want is someone poking around their books.
  29. Still legal in 2026. Ask Gabriel.
  30. Big mistake but love the way he responded, didn't hide and showed an impressive attitude/character/mentality in all he did. Have to admit to being one of those that were really upset with Santos being sold, however although early days this guy seems as good as or even better from box to box perspective, do like his ability to spot a pass and his range of passing also. Don't think his size will be a problem will give as good as he gets in that respect it seems and a little like Wisey in small but physical side of things possibly.
