Football (Other Teams)

Just the three teams in London better than Chelsea now. In your face Leyton Orient. Feel free to use this forum to remind people how players we punted because we thought they weren't good enough for us would now feature week in week out for us. Come back Willian, your hair moves me.

    • "Eventually we’ll have a team full of experience with more younger players ready to compete for places which is the ideal situation. Really we should have bought experience first then added the youth, it’s not like the youngsters are cheaper. Don’t ask me why but we’ve done it arse about tit and now need to hope the young uns develop on top of gaining the required experience without examples to follow in the team." The youngsters are much cheaper. Our vets came in at 200,000+ / week most of our young players at 50,000. It's why Sterling, Lukaku, Chillwell and others are so hard to get rid of, they come on massive wages and theres no where to go if they don't produce. Chillwell's at 200,000/ wk, Veiga is at 25,000 / wk
    • He is sh*t! Misses more big chances than Jackson in an average league. Why are Juve happy to let there No 9 and only CF leave mid season?  Tells you everything.
    • Problem with this line of thought is he is providing this kind of performances (personally think he has been average) because he feels loved and he is starting every game. Once you take that away and he is coming off the bench, he will look disinterested and probably revert to his Utd shenanigans. He will stop putting in an effort in training, and fire up his PlayStation. The reported wages also won’t be easy to move, as we are the last of the “top” clubs that will have him. I also feel there are better options in the market like Kudus & Gordon who could be bought in the summer if we didn’t have an obligation to buy on Sancho.
