As the sticking appoint appears to be the amount/instalments we pay after the upfront payment I’m not surprised it’s taking a while. Although really how can anyone say what a while is in football terms? No one outside of CFC or BL know. Payments received going forward will help BL for the future, the longevity of how beneficial this transfer (or any transfer) will be is reliant on this. There’s no point in having it all upfront if they can’t spend it now or they may even need some of the money to help them financially. Then there are beautiful taxes... the higher the amount, the higher the tax. Honestly I don’t know, it’s all guess work but it’s not as simple as £90m? Sure, here’s my card. Contactless?

I’ve watched that goal a couple of times and still don’t get why Maguire stopped and looked back? If he had continued running it would have intercepted that cross I reckon, it at least got something on it. I’ve only seen it at one angle but unless there was another player hurtling in who he heard scream then it makes no sense. Well to be honest that’s being kind, block the ball if you’re in a position to do so, there’s no need to mark anyone if the ball is coming straight at you. Did he think someone would nip in and take it? Ah sod it, sh*t defending.

I’ve not seen anything of Dunk but if he can defend then I’m all for it. Hell, his grandma is probably better than most of our lot.

Hmm true, I guess he can act as a good example to the youngsters. I think I read a couple of tweets or what have you from our lot saying how much he helped them when initially signing. Might have got that completely wrong. We’ll see, they’ve signed PL experience and whilst he’s never set the world alight, he has proven PL experience which is invaluable in some aspects.
