He’d go with my complete blessing. He has won everything he can here, there is a spot for him to play for the club he’s always wanted too and he’s never kicked up a fuss. Great player, great guy and I hope, should the inevitable happens, that he wins the CL... of course depends if we’re in it or not, if we are then I wish him no luck at all!

I’d be elated if he did sign a new contract and he would be our signing of the season but I don’t think he will. His form hasn’t been terrible, he’s just had no one, bar the recent form of Willian, to help him. I’d be gutted if he chose to go but could hardly blame him, that’s nothing against the club, him or anyone. He’s won the league and unless by some miracle we acquire world class signings in the Summer he’ll never win the CL with us. With the World Cup in the Summer this contract saga will run on and on and on. If he does intend to sign then you have to ask what the hold up is.

Maybe it's because people can post negative opinions without having a barrage of abuse thrown at them. It's kinda like what is said in this topic, stays in this topic. Your unpopular opinion is immune. Like you I don't hold a negative view about the club/board, I'm too bias. I very rarely say positive things though for fear of jinxing it!

Good window, squad increase for the four fronts we're hopefully fighting on. Would have liked a striker but honestly we're pretty well backed in every position (except striker) with a very versatile set of defenders. It's not a disaster, loanees can always be recalled should we end up like Bolton and be left with 6 players. Roman has spent a sh*t load here, very grateful.
