Everytime i see Willian on the pitch a part of me dies. I like Mikel and Ramires better than Willian because at least we know what to expect. With Willian, it can be s**t one day and great the next...but mostly he is s**t.

Exactly what I'd love to see. What we will see (sadly) Courtois Ivanovic Cahill Terry Azpilicueta Ramires Matic Fabregas Willian Hazard Drogba (if Costa is unfit)

When 1/3 of those games are against 3 of the top 5 + We've giving up leads in MULTIPLE games since NYD = Yes, we could easily drop 9 points. I have faith, but it's not very strong with the form we've been in.

Why can't we get any Monday Night games so I can actually WATCH them?

The other day I was wondering, why the hell isn't our shortest player and the one who just so happens to have the best foot on our team, isn't taking the corners. It's not like he is going to score in the air.

So I was at work (like usual) for this match, but I followed it on my phone / on this thread. I just got home and watched the highlights. That goal from Costa was absolutely nasty! With that being said, I get the feeling that Ivanovic is starting to wear on more people than just me (which he has been doing for about 2 months now). Also, I am running out of faith and trust in Mourinho. He clearly has better options on the bench than what he is using for his starting XI, but he refuses to change it up. I am of the opinion that if we bottle this title that Roman will run Jose out of town.

I was just going to come and post this. That penalty call was absolutely UNBELIEVABLE! Also, I feel that the second "Kane" goal should be counted as an OG. It took a HUGE deflection to the exact opposite side that he was shooting at.

Kalas was massive in last years win against Liverpool. I'd be okay with Filipe Luis going back to Athletico, if it is Koke coming the other way.

Okay ONE good cross in how many tries and the only reason why Costa scored is because it was s**t defending and goalkeeping. If that was Courtois or Cech the goalie would have snatched it before Costa even had a chance to get a head on it.

To be honest, the reason our attacking players are forced to be more cautious is because god***n Ivanovic thinks he is a fricken striker and bombs forward far too often. How many times do we see him DRIBBLING near or inside the 18 yard box? I could understand him going forward to create crossing attempts, like Azpilicueta and Filipe Luis do on the left side, but Ivanovic cannot cross the ball to save his life.

Outside of Hazard our attacking midfield is absolutely non-existent. What we need is a legitimate right winger (which could possibly be Cuadrado), who isn't afraid to run at defenders and take shots when they have the opportunity (two things Willian doesn't and maybe cannot do). If we aren't going to get Reus, and he goes to Real Madrid, I would love us to try and get whatever player leaves to make room for him (that is either Bale or Isco). Outside of the names I mentioned, I honestly don't know of any young attacking midfielders that could possibly be bought this summer. If anybody has any other names feel free to drop them If we can get someone like Pogba or Koke (both will cost us a lot of money), we can afford to move Fabregas up to the #10 role, which I feel will suit him better. At that point, Oscar can come off the bench if we'd like. I mentioned Varane, because Cahill hasn't looked very good this year and Terry is getting up there in age. If we could pair Varane with Zouma, we'd literally be set in central defense for the next decade.

I thought the Lewandowski to Munich was agreed on before his contract ran out, which would have given Dortmund royalties because he was still under contract. Gotze might have had a buyout clause but who's to say that Reus doesn't either with his new contract. You make a good point, but I don't think I'm worthy of getting flak for expressing the same idea that other people have been saying for the past 10 months. That is unless you are okay with mediocrity at Chelsea, because that is what I've seen from most of our players since Christmas.

Have you forgotten that teams sell players in their prime to make money? I mean we've done it MULTIPLE times over the past 4 years. So why wouldn't Dortmund or Juventus sell Reus or Pogba at a time that they know the will get the most money for them? Especially Dortmund, they are going nowhere fast so why not cash in again? They've already done it twice with Gotze and Lewandowski.

Uhhh not really. We could use Cech to get Varane from Real Madrid. We desperately need another attacking midfielder, so selling one of our miss firing one's could help fund it. Finally, it's pretty obvious that we need another superstar holding midfielder to pair with Matic, so why not sell two of our worthless D-Mids to fund that one.

This was even after I didn't give him any crap for us beating them in the COC final. It makes me smug knowing that we'll be back in the Champions League next season and they'll miss out on all European competition.

Ever since Christmas, it is pretty clear that we need another defensive minded midfielder and an attacking midfielder. Out Cech Mikel Ramires Oscar / Willian Drogba (retire please) In Reus / Isco / Draxler Pogba / Koke Varane (would be lovely to pair him up with Zouma for the next 10 years) I can see our team next year being Courtious Ivanovic Zouma Terry / Cahill / Varane Azpilicueta Pogba / Koke Matic Reus / Isco / Draxler Fabregas Hazard Costa

The funny thing is that last year I thought Southampton's was one of the better mid-table teams in the league, and then they lose Shaw, Lallana, Lambert and Lovren in the summer and I didn't think they could repeat their form from last year. But Clyne, Bertrand, Pelle and Tadic have all stepped up and it's another good year for the Saints. With that being said, I think we'll see a 1-0 victory for us Blues. I think that PSG is going to wear us down tomorrow, so I'd imagine we'll see Remy or Drogba start up top, which will limit our offensive capabilities.

That was a really nervy match to watch. I am truly, 100% SICK of Ivanovic failing to be a competent RB. He has regularly been doing one of two things. Either bombing way too far forward (occasionally scoring a goal) and thus forcing the RM to play back defensively too much, or he is getting absolutely destroyed on the right side defensively, like Downing was doing all night. If Jose wants to use a defender up in midfield, how about using Ivanovic, because he is far too much of a liability at RB. That being said, I didn't like that we didn't put away our offensive chances tonight. Costa should have had two, and I could have buried that open net that Willian (who I still don't care for) lackadaisically side footed right into the defenders feet. Ramires looked good most of the game, and Fabregas and Oscar had a good 1st half before they got nervy. Either way, 3 points closer to the title and another clean sheet.
