Ivanovic is gonna back up Azpilicueta this year and then when Terry leaves or retires next summer Ivanovic will go and play his natural position at CB. It's a great concept and our defense will be dominate!

To be honest, Germany really wasn't the best team in the tournament. They are just the most complete team and cohesive team. France has got to be one of the favorites going in to 2018 in Russia. I would like to think that if they had Ribery they could very well have lifted that trophy tonight.

For me it would be Costa Hazard, Fabregas, Schurrle / Oscar Pogba, Matic Luis, Cahill, Terry, Azpilicueta Courtois But yeah, bloody hell is right.

I really think the only way this transfer happens is if Ramires is sent the other way. Juventus won't risk losing both Vidal AND Pogba without being assured that they'll have a competent midfield.

If we had a legit striker we wouldn't have finished trophyless. That and Cech was injured for both legs of the CL Semifinal.

This is truly a head spinning transfer window. I love Pogba and he would be in our squad for the next decade, but I'm not sure he is needed at this point. Before the Cecs signing I would have said spend the 60M on him ALL day, but now that we have Fabregas, I just don't see how we can put two new midfielders in the line-up and still have room for our normal starters. UNLESS.... We drop Willian and play with Oscar / Schurrle and Hazard up top with Costa. Then I'm all for it.

He doesn't really fit out team. We don't play with a False 9 like Germany and Bayern do. If I could have 1 player off of Bayern it would either be Kroos, Gotze or Lewandowski.

ROTFLMAO! We got a better LB (who isn't even a LB) for about 1/4 the cost of Shaw. I love Manchester United and their ridiculous transfers. First it was Fellaini, then Mata, and now Shaw. In Roman / Jose we trust!

IF. And that is a huge IF, we sign Pogba. Expect Oscar and Ramires to either be included in the transfer, or quickly shipped out right after. Although I'd love to see Willian gone and Oscar to stay, Willian has little transfer value (mainly because of his true talent level), while Oscar is a top 15 offensive midfielder right now. Juve has been interested in Ramires before, so it would make sense if he was included in the transfer. While I love Pogba, and would have had him as first choice before we got Cesc. I think his position (Defensive Mid with a slight skill at attacking) is redundant. We have Matic, who has made some epic passes in his short stint with CFC, and Ramires / Mikel, who both have shown some offensive abilities. Don't waste money on a player we don't need while we have other more glaring needs at this time.

I really just wish this would resolve itself. Either get a deal done, or officially announce you are looking elsewhere.

Actually I feel you need more players who can make a move and create their own high quality shots (much like Sturridge). You get your "Creativity" in Wilshire, and the ability to create a good scoring chance in Barkley (he actually looked very good in the limited amount of time he got against Italy)

I'm not an English fan (USA / Belgium), but I did watch the game. And while you are partially right, England had many more offensive opportunities to score. However, the misses by Rooney, the terrible crosses by everyone, and Gerrard playing incredibly uninspired, they never really were a threat to win. The only players who looked motivated and good were Sturridge and Sterling. Yeah there is no way Jose will wait until August to announce a marquee signing like this. If it was already done it would have been announced last night or today. Does that leave us with Mandzukic as a our striker signing, with Lukaku coming back? I'd probably be okay with that.

I don't think this one is gonna happen. I just think it would have been announced already just like the Fabregas deal was.

I have a feeling that everybody who thinks "Cesc" is too old probably feels that way because he has been relevant for over 10 years. They forget that he was 16 when he joined Arsenal

So is the Costa, Tiago and Filipe Luis deals...but who knows when those are gonna be announced.
