Chelsea vs Arsenal (PL) 05/10/14 KO: 14:05 BST
And normally I wouldn't have a problem with this, but he plays right back, not in an attacking position. But the fact that he is getting so far up the pitch is allowing our opponents to quickly counter us (successfully at times) on that right side. Against the lower teams this doesn't necessarily hurt us, but against the top squads it will bite us in the behind.

Chelsea vs Arsenal (PL) 05/10/14 KO: 14:05 BST
I think this WILL be the squad Jose picks, but I'd like to see Filipe Luis and Azpilicueta at the fullback spots. Clearly, Filipe Luis offers more defensively than Ivanovic does, and his crosses make Ivanovic look like a kid playing Primary School football.

Sporting Lisbon vs Chelsea (CL) 30/09/14 KO: 19:45 BST
Glad to get the 3 points, but our finishing is either to lackadaisical or their keeper was playing out of his mind. Oscar, Matic and Fabregas all looked great. Costa played well, minus his breakaway miss, and I thought that outside of a couple of bad challenges, Filipe Luis looked very good again. I really would like to see what our squad could do with Azpi and Filipe Luis in the same starting XI. With that being said, I think we need to look for another top quality winger come January. Schurrle and Willian both play well but they just don't have the finishing skill that we need. If Reus hadn't gotten injured I would have liked us to try and snag him, but we might have to look outside of the box. Anybody else feel similarly?

Chelsea vs Aston Villa (PL) 27/09/14 KO: 15:00 BST
After seeing Luis play in the game against Schalke and yesterday against Bolton, I think that he NEEDS to be included in the Starting XI. His overlapping runs and the quality of crosses he is whipping in are absolute class. This is what I would like to see on Saturday Courtois Azpilucueta Ivanovic © Cahill Luiz Fabregas Matic Willian Oscar Hazard Remy (I'd like Costa to sit a few just so he can heal up a bit for the Arsenal match)

Chelsea vs Schalke (CL) 17/09/14 KO: 19:45 BST
I have a feeling Drogba got the start just because of how his last appearance in a Chelsea shirt in the CL went. I'd expect him to be subbed at half-time for Remy. I'm kinda glad to see Luis in the starting XI.

Chelsea v Swansea (PL) 13/09/14 KO 15:00 BST
It sucks that I have to work when these games are being played. However, after watching the match highlights, we really came out on fire after halftime. With that being said, I would fancy this line-up for either Schalke or City GK: Courtois RB: Azpilicueta CB: Ivanovic © CB: Cahill LB: Luis DM: Ramires DM: Matic LW: Oscar CAM: Fabregas RW: Hazard ST: Costa Terry is definitely showing his age, and Oscar has played better on the wing, rather than in the center.

Who do we want in January?
I honestly don't think we need anybody in January. Our team is pretty much set. The only thing I might want to see next Summer is someone like Reus in and Willian out (I am still not a big fan of him to be honest), or move Fabregas up and put Pogba back with Matic. That and a younger striker to replace Drogba (although this could very easily be Bamford depending on how well he does at Middlesbrough.

Branislav Ivanovic - Your Views?
I don't want to start a flame war on here, but what if we start seeing Ivanovic playing more in place of Terry at CB in order for the transition to go smoothly. I mean obviously Terry is our captain and our team leader and nothing is going to change that, but with the amount of matches across all competitions we have, Terry might want some days off. Also, at the rate our defense is going, Filipe Luis won't even get a sniff at LB and I think he should.

Van Ginkel to Chelsea
I have a feeling that this loan will make him into a superstar. Imagine him next to Matic with Oscar, Fabregas, Hazard and Costa in attack. That's a scary ass team. On a side note, WHY THE HELL DOES HE LOOK LIKE JUSTIN BIEBER?!?! http://photos-e.ak.instagram.com/hphotos-ak-xfa1/10624175_1471862296407124_299920637_n.jpg

Remy in TORRES TO MILAN
Jackson Martinez, Bony, Cavani, Falcao. I think that is it for available strikers. OR What about Stephan El Shaarawy (although I doubt Milan will go into their upcoming season with just Torres) or Higuain? If Falcao goes to Madrid how about trying to get Benzema?

Diego Costa to Chelsea
Giroud is injured, Jay Rodriguez, Benteke and Negredo have all been injured. Most of the good teams are facing injuries to their strikers. Hopefully this isn't as serious as the doomsday papers are making it out to be.

Mattia Destro
LMAO! Absolutely brilliant!

Following Our Nearest and Dearest Rivals, 2014-15
23 seconds after he is brought on...to be able to bring someone like that (or even Negredo) off the bench has got to be an awesome ability to have

Remy in TORRES TO MILAN
If that is true, it only further proves that Lukaku is a lazy, immature, brat. If a nut job like Balotelli would have been okay playing behind Costa (and is clearly okay playing behind Sturridge), then why couldn't Lukaku?

Markovic is already impressing me. That slip pass into Henderson was Fabregas-esque. Of course because they're scousers, they ended up screwing up the chance, but it was still a nice buildup play by them.

Do we still need another striker?
If his health would be guaranteed not to be a problem anymore, I'd absolutely take him. English, homegrown and would probably be alright being behind Costa. But alas, his health is a problem. We aren't going to get another striker as long as Torres is still on our books. I live in the States and I will fly to London and celebrate with the rest of you the day we can get that cancer out of our squad.
-
Do we still need another striker?
Were you born a moron, without the ability to use reasoning and logic? Or is that something you've developed throughout your life? You clearly don't understand the point I was trying to make. Liverpool strengthened their team by adding Balo. Liverpool and City are our main competition this season. If Sturridge gets injured, you can bring in Balo or Lambert, and their team is just as good as they were with Sturridge. If Costa gets injured or picks up a suspension, you bring Drogba or Torres in and OUR team is not even remotely close to being as good as with Costa. We need to stay competitive regardless of the situation, and right now we won't be if Costa misses games, thus, we NEED to bring in another legitimate striker options.
-
Do we still need another striker?
Now that Balo is going to Liverpool, I think Jose DEFINITELY needs to go out and get another striker. Our team is brilliant right now, but heaven forbid (knock on wood) that Costa gets injured or picks up a suspension, the dynamics of our team would go right out the window.

Petr Cech to Real Madrid
Make it a pineapple and I'll graciously accept my prize! Just trying to look for a positive side to a tough situation.
-
Petr Cech to Real Madrid
Here's an idea. Anybody who wants Petr, should be REQUIRED to take on Nando and his wages as well. That will either prevent Petr from leaving, or allow us to wash our hands of Torres once and for all.

Burnley v Chelsea (PL) 18/08/14 KO 20:00 BST
There is a difference between diving or flopping (in which there is no contact made yet the player goes to the ground as if there were), and embellishing contact. Costa's attack was impeded by the goalie and there was clear contact between the two. Now Costa probably could have jumped over the keeper, but he didn't and chose to embellish the contact and hope for the penalty. Now the ref messed up by carding Costa. If you aren't gonna call the penalty, then you cannot card the offensive player for diving because there was legit contact. Fabregas is a master of vision and passing. I am glad I made him the Captain of my fantasy squad!

Burnley v Chelsea (PL) 18/08/14 KO 20:00 BST
So Jose's talk of none of the WC players playing was all ruse? Outside of not starting Luis, this was the Starting XI that I've wanted this entire off-season

Burnley v Chelsea (PL) 18/08/14 KO 20:00 BST
I'm just saying that with the nightmare he has been at Striker for us, him going and scoring a goal in the first game of the season from a wing position (and a spot that Hazard is normally in), would be a pretty big "f*ck you" to Chelsea in my opinion

Burnley v Chelsea (PL) 18/08/14 KO 20:00 BST
How sad would it be if Torres got the start at LW and scored our first goal of the new season?

Burnley v Chelsea (PL) 18/08/14 KO 20:00 BST
I hope you're joking. A top 5 natural left backs in the WORLD (Luis) vs. a natural right back who just so happens to have played well last year at left back. Why is this even a debate anymore?
