  1. aaah. I thought he was just being a pretentious sulky bitch
  2. I truly do not understand why Kante was booked for that when he played the ball, and the twat bringing Hazard down from behind didn't even get a free-kick against him, let alone a booking
  3. Yep.because even a piss-poor success ratio of 33% is better than some drunk geordie or that twat Jenas. I'd put you on a par with Danny Murphy or merson. That's the level you've displayed so far. (I just realised , the use of the word "drunk" in front of the word "geordie" was superfluous. They're all drunks)
  4. Just a shame that he can't seem to score, whatever he does. He had several excellent chances last night. I think he has some sort of hoodoo-voodoo curse on him.
  5. Well one out of three correct so far, so yes, you could say you are better than the average pundit, you should be on Motd or the BT Soccer Show or something. I really do hope you are right about Emerson and RLC, but the jury is still out on Emerson and RLC's back yet might stop him achieving his full potential. But I do agree that Emerson should get a run in the team to see if last night was truly representative of his skills, or if his previous outings against lower level opposition are more representative.
  6. I was a bit disappointed with Barkley as well. His first touch isn't anywhere near good enough to play the sort of fast one-touch that we need and appear to be moving towards. I lost count last night of how many times a pass into him seemed to bounce off his shins and need two or three tries to get it under control. Probably least good on the pitch last night, but We Beat Spuds, so it would be churlish to moan.
  7. Oh, I think you have exactly the correct amount of appreciation given your limited football knowledge :)
  8. Second half the Spuds changed their format and had five across the midfield - making it a bit more crowded and pressured. But I agree with you and @just, he dropped in performance a bit later in the match
  9. You spelled muppet incorrectly
  10. But he also said a lot more positive stuff. Thankfully someone could be arsed to post the entire quote and not just pick the negative bit out of it.
  11. Bless some of our luvverly fans though. Can't be content (or even, dare I say it, happy) with beating the Spuds, but they have to whinge on about it "was only Spurs C team" or "Spurs reserves". As far as I know it was 3 out of their first team missing, and all the rest were regular starters. Hardly having to draft in 12 year-olds and pensioners, was it? Just a quick google and it looks like the entire starting eleven apart from Llorente are full internationals as are all of their substitutes used.
  12. Or being much in demand with the ladies because he never finishes
  13. As above, I'd prefer to keep them both, and one of Willian/Pedro - I'm not sure yet that CHO is experienced enough to be the only choice we have.
  14. yep, because the first thing any player wants to do is phone the Mail and brag about his salary.
  15. @dkw What do you reckon, mate, Dipper or a Spud? Or just a WUM?
  16. Only fourth in the league, FFS, and still in all the competitions we entered. How sh*te is that? We are no better than Huddersfield, are we?
  17. I looked up "reliable Matt Law" in the dictionary of journalists and it says "makes a lot of guesses and tries desperately to convince all and sundry that he has deep and meaningful sources within (insert your club here), but really knows nothing more nor less than "yer average punter"."
  18. He's banned??? NO!!!!!! Who is going to remind me to go buy my Callum Wilson toilet paper now?
  19. I'm more upset about you going on about your "right" to be offensive, just because you don't think anyone SHOULD be offended by any such term. But then that is indicative of the self-centred society that we are becoming, where common decency is described as "acting as if the world is ending", completely ignoring the fact that for a huge number of people affected by cancer that is EXACTLY what happens, their world ENDS. If you are comfortable with that level of ignorant disregard for the way that people are affected by this vile disease, then I am really glad that you are just some idiot on an internet forum and not someone I will ever have to know personally. But still, as long as you have "the right" to be a f**kwit, you go ahead. That's the last I'll say on this.
  20. Thanks and well done, mate- it's always easy to just pick the wrong phrase, I do it all the time. And I'm sorry I went off on one at you - it touched a nerve at the time.
