Nice post and agree with virtually all of it. I will add though that i thought Ivan was a bit unprofessional throughout the first half and he seemed a man on a mission to get sent off.

Same manager and players that won the double last season?? what did Grant do with a winning team?? nothing??........and Scolari just didnt have a clue about club football. Only one man to blame if you want to blame one man and thats Roman for rocking what seemed a pretty solid ship IMHO The players tho since Rays departure have been awful!!

To be fair i think its only the players that need looking at..........Anelka has always been a liability for me lazy and self centred........didnt want him to join us in the first place and Roman ruining the season by rocking the boat halfway through..........he wont learn from it tho that is a certainty.

Yep ditto used to love going up to Maine Rd was always a good craic Was at the Everton game too right at the start of the season and Gooner Kevin Richardson got the winner!!!. Remember Birmingham away on a Friday night when we came up too........ beat em 4-1 to go top of the league and never looked back from then on either!!........got absolutely trollied after that game when we got home!!! :)

Twice when lost 1972 League Cup Final (was only 9 at the time mind) sobbed me socks off all the way home (and me dad threatened never to take me again) then watched the game again on the Big Match on Sunday and sobbed again!!! 20 years later at Sunderland in a Cup Replay.........took the day off work to go and to be honest we battered their goal for the maj of the second half. im sure had the game gone into extra time we may well have gone on to win the cup that year.......When Armstrong got their winner the tears were running a bit :)
