This season will clearly go down as a very good one. Once the Champions League and FA Cup are in the bag.

Just start the both of them. They are bound to make the opposition defenders work Harder than they are currently. It's almost as though José has set out this blueprint of 4231/433 for his 'project' and is scared to deviate from it, except when trying to defend mid-game (chuck on extra CM/CB) or kitchen sink (343/352). He needs to go back to the drawing board and rethink whatever idea he had to begin with. It won the title last season, but it hasn't worked at all this time around.

I've always said this, tbh. He slows play down too often when he has the ability to rip right through teams (Arsenal, Newcastle, Man Utd, etc). Still, even with his dilly dallying style, he is a tremendous player when on form.

Not until he starts flicking his delicate blonde locks.

Not the biggest Oscar fan, admittedly, but I do recall him coming up with some important goals, to be fair. Someone with a clearer head can cite the specific instances, I hope.

As funny as it sounds, some Drogba/Essien type African strength, aggression, stamina and passion would come in handy right now. Mental toughness and leadership, too. Too many weaklings and players who shrink away from taking responsibility in this side.Not sure about Kalou, though, even though he did his bit for the club. (Disclaimer: Despite the name, not an African here...)

Ramires - No room for him in a possession based game that the club wants to see played. Has to go unless willing to accept a Mikel type role. Fabregas - Too big of a liability. Has undoubted attacking ability, but lack of mobility and defensive frailty means he has to be carried by the team. Oscar - Given the freedom, he might be a very useful player in the future, but at this rate, not looking worth holding onto. Cash in and find replacement. Hazard - The brightest talent at the club, but unless he sits down and settles his differences with the manager/club, he needs to go. Would not like to see him go as these types of players are hard to come by... John Terry - Someone needs to be bought in with top level experience and leadership to keep the defence organised. JT to take a coaching/behind the scenes role. Ivanovic - Time is up for him. Hopefully a serie A move to prolong his already excellent career. Costa - If there are takers, I would like to see him go, personally. If he stays and rediscovers his form - fantastic, but there has to be a quality forward bought in either way. IN: CB - An experienced leader. Dominant CB needed. LB/RB - Of proven quality. Baba still young and has time. C/AM - Goalscoring CM with good passing, intelligence and decent level of physical presence. (Lampard) C/DM - Strong, energetic, box to box CM with solid passing and good-decent all-round play. (Essien/Ballack) CF - Top level alternative/competition for Costa, AM/WG - Hazard replacement if he goes. Reus, Bale,, Griezmann, etc RLC, Kennedy to be used. The players bought in need to be top quality players, as was the case previously. Cole Terry Lampard Essien Ballack Drogba That's the level of players essentially being replaced. Will be hard to find and won't come cheap. Guys like these are rare I know, but the ones bought in need to be close to that with potential to emulate.

He certainly wasn't hiding last season. Half of that championship win was down to his taking responsibility more than the rest and battling through being kicked around left, right and centre. He has been acting like a bit of a Prima Donna this season, and there seems to have been a falling out between manager and player from early on in the season, quite probably contributing to the stuff we are currently seeing.

Phew.... Avoided Gent! Back to seriousness, 4 of those look like Quarter final ties: PSG v Chelsea Roma v Real Madrid Arsenal v Barcelona Bayern v Juventus The rest look closer to last 16 ties or Europa Cup draws. Chelsea are real underdogs this season and it might contribute to some surprisingly good results in Europe this year. Bring em on.

It's not that hard to guess is it: Hazard's mate is Demba Ba. Demba Ba is a Muslim. Muslims are terrorists. Terrorists support Isis. Hazard is an ISIS supporting terrorist.

You can't argue with the business done. All were praising Jose for his transfer dealings last season and they win the title for the club. Still don't think Lukaku is that great, tbh. The one I didn't like was the Mata transfer. Mata was Chelsea's little magician, a fan favourite, liked by both fans and haters of the club. Sad to see him so average now, and playing for the Mancs. Was really flying high and was one of the players at the club who was a joy to watch.

All those mentioning Joe Cole, surely Mata deserves a shout, too.

Robben must have been truly frightening for opposition fans, managers and players to watch. Direct, lightening fast dribbler and a ridiculous composure and eye for goal even at full pelt. Hazard shows glimpses of Robben type play, but he is ponderous in comparison, although he is more refined in other parts of his game.

Matic, RLC, Oscar. Has that trio been tried at all? That's the one I want to see next match.

Both Korona and Brahimi looked at least two times as sharp as Hazard. Brahimi looks a nightmare to mark, can't tell which way he's going and such quick turning ability. Has he got many goals in him, though? Imbula is another one. It's like watching the black Matic.

Matic. Cos I missed seeing him not being a liability for too long.

Midfield is weak and sift with him there. Sometimes it feels like a player missing.

First half he was poor. Second half he came to life a bit. Not outstanding by any means. A fairly good second half, that was all imo

He has been very Torresy of late. Even through on goal with an empty net, you expect him to somehow mess it up. At least he made some good runs and kept the defenders occupied.

There's one that sticks out like a sore thumb from that lot... Please, not Gent!

When Chelsea eek out an all-hands-on-deck 1-0 win against Leicester, I'll be waiting for the commentator to be basking in the glory of the wonders of the Premier League... and how clubs like lowly Chelsea can upset the big boys like Leicester City!
