Asmir Begovic
Being widely reported we're after him as our replacement for Petr Cech. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/chelsea/11679686/Chelsea-transfer-news-Jose-Mourinho-prepares-bid-for-Asmir-Begovic.html http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3126510/Chelsea-let-Petr-Cech-join-Arsenal-agree-deal-Stoke-s-Asmir-Begovic-QPR-keeper-Robert-Green.html?ITO=1490&ns_mchannel=rss&ns_campaign=1490&utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter

Petr Cech to Arsenal
Just let the guy stay in London if he wants to stay in London. No matter which way you look at it Arsenal are an irrelevance to us. I'd actually say giving him to PSG would be a far greater risk to our future success.

Chelsea in for Falcao?
If you watched him for Manchester United last season you'll see his pace and movement is still top-notch, he was just bought by them for name alone without a specific role in the team in mind at a time when his confidence was too fragile for him to be able to force his way in due to having played about twice since a 6+ month injury. Torres was simply permanently physically incapacitated and consistently let his frustrations with this further negatively impact his performance; Falcao is physically and mentally stronger than Torres. If Jose thinks he can resurrect the real Falcao then I believe him.

£500 million plan for new Stamford Bridge
With a still-cramped pitch that teams can park the bus easily against us on and a stadium design we probably wouldn't have plumped for had we had a more grandiose land area available to us with a capacity we'll probably revisit the same old expansion problems for in a decade's time or so.

Random Rumours
Alex Song is completely underrated. Was one of Arsenal's key players before earning a move to Barcelona where, unsurprisingly, they couldn't find a proper place for him in the first team before impressing again at West Ham. Homegrown, powerful and with good feet he's far superior to Mikel and would be a very good value signing.

Would have been a million times better to just move.

Kenedy aka 'The New Hulk'
How would we get a work permit under Dyke's new rules? Pretty sure he won't have played 45% of competitive Brazil matches in the past 2 years and there's no special talent ruling anymore.

Paul Pogba - Needs to Sign!
http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/12961/9788285/barcelona-and-chelsea-lead-to-race-to-sign-juventus-paul-pogba Supposedly Barcelona are leading the chase, us right behind. How exactly have Barcelona been punished for their transfer malpractice again?

Chelsea in for Falcao?
I wouldn't take him but I think Manchester United have handled him appallingly since his injury. For a team like Liverpool or Tottenham who would put their arms around him and make him feel like he's the main man again he'd be an unbelievable signing.

There is no "bravely" losing to Monaco. Only "embarrassingly".

Douglas Costa Chelsea Target
Always wanted this guy to play for us. Such a classy, dangerous player.

Our New Stadium
Depends, are those fans educated on the inner workings of how to run a football club and £bn land deals? Sacking someone who caused us to be knocked out of the Champions League group stages and plummet down the table seemingly unstoppably and replacing him on a 6 month contract with someone who ensured automatic Champions League qualification and won us the Europa League... seems more forgivable than permanently moving us to Milton Keynes/Moscow doesn't it?
-
Our New Stadium
Couple of points - That we somehow owe CPO something for them saving the club or similar is a complete fallacy, CPO did nothing but attempt to protect the future of Stamford Bridge WAY after Ken Bates had already fought off the threat of property developers, CPO's "protection" never came into use as no further threats ensued. Any effects they have had have been negative. That CPO were right to object to the vote because we might, possibly, perhaps move somewhere undesirable is based on the idea that Roman would suddenly decide to flip off the entire core fan base he had worked so hard to ingratiate himself with and permanently tarnish the history of his time at Chelsea. Personally I think that's a little far fetched but then again... maybe he's an alien.

Our New Stadium
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-31873885 Tottenham in the clear to build new stadium and leave us in the dust. CPO's decision in 2011 keeps looking better and better

Chelsea vs PSG (Champions League Second Leg) 11/03/2015
So are the opposition. If you listen to any professional athlete they will tell you to discard the little things that give you an edge at your peril. PSG were playing by far their most exciting match of the season. Our most exciting match of the season is every bloody week in the Premier League, and it's mentally and physically exhausting.

One week to recover from 32 weeks worth of gruelling matches?

Chelsea vs PSG (Champions League Second Leg) 11/03/2015
Saw lots of similar comments after Rosenborg. Ultimately I think it's the strength of the Premier League that screws us. PSG play donkey teams for 99% of the year so when a big Champions League fixture comes around they all perk up that extra 10% and invariably put on a show. We on the other hands expend that extra 10% every week against the likes of Burnley and Leicester who are all able to give us a tough game, so when we need to move up a gear vs Europe's elite we have nothing extra to call upon. We badly need a Winter break and/or a reduction in fixtures eg League Cup/FA Cup replays.

Chelsea vs PSG (Champions League Second Leg) 11/03/2015
We'll probably go on to stroll the Premiership against all the other underperforming apathetic sloppy English sides this season and then be surprised when we get knocked out of Europe next season as we thought winning the Premiership meant we were almost the greatest side that ever existed.

Chelsea fans racially abuse a man on the Paris Metro
Well I'm done feeling sorry for him. Such a shame as if he'd acted with a little more grace about it all an even more powerful anti-racism message could have been sent. Now if I saw him getting on my train tomorrow there'd be a part of me that would want to shove him right back off myself.
