Unfair in the same way that if David Cameron got a speeding ticket it would be more publicised than if some milkman in Stoke did the same. People care more about Diego Costa because he's a higher profile player than Ashley Barnes, therefore the media devote more publicity to him. Unfair yes, abnormal and a conspiracy no.

Excellent news, although as the rights are shared pretty equally I doubt we'll see everyone in the top 4 suddenly spending like Real Madrid. What I really hope is that this money is spent well, not on the latest flashy one season wonder from Spain, but on true talent scouted properly, youth infrastructure, the best coaching talent. Fuss over nothing. Pearson got taken by surprise, jokily throttled McArthur, McArthur obviously didn't take it jokily and said something to him, Pearson grabbed his shirt in a sort of "what are you saying that for?" type fashion. If he was going to be banned the throttling would have needed to be serious, shirt pulling is a yellow card at worst. There is no conspiracy against Chelsea, every club thinks everyone else is against them, Diego Costa deserved his ban and I think we've been treated equally (badly) by referees and the FA with everything else this season in comparison to others.

The Premiership really should do so much better in European compeititon than it acually does. Would any other business with revenue over twice the size of its nearest competitor expect to be inferior? I don't agree with homegrown protectionism or FFP but most clubs really need to be smarter.
