Kante was the reason we lost against them last season though 🤷🏻‍♂️. Kante needs a good run of games for match fitness as well.

I just don't know what Potter sees to continually play Kai, as well as him playing 90 minutes most game. It is beyond frustrating. As for his best position, he clearly needs to be an advanced attacking midfielder, in a 10 role as such. He is not an attacking winger / striker.

Stick Aubameyang, Lukaku or Sterling up top and you'll see goals. Kai up front just doesn't work, plus it's not his natural position.

He just needs to make sure he doesn't play Kai as a striker again. I think it's pretty obvious it doesn't work.

Plenty of positives but certain players need to be moved on or dropped. Looking forward to seeing more of Mudryk in combination with Felix & Muedeke. No more of this Havertz up front bollocks either.

RLC, Kova & Jorginho starting........the lack of creativity here is really frustrating. Broja will then be dropped again because he was fed crumbs. I don't think I can actually watch another game currently with that midfield. Hopefully the likes of Hall & Gallagher have a cracking game.

We don't need to get rid of Potter, he just needs to stop giving starting places to players clearly not playing well enough. Tuchel made the same mistakes.

Again, playing players like RLC, Havertz & Jorginho really reduces your lack of threat. There is no reason why players like Gallagher, Zakaria and Broja shouldn't be starting. Bringing on Kovacic late in the game says it all, the lack of creativity is killing. You need midfielders who can drive forward with the ball, create gaps, pull players out of position. Xhaka & Partey literally had so much space.

Haaland would struggle with our current midfield. Zakaria on for RLC, Gallagher on for Havertz.

How is RLC playing ahead of Zakaria, unless he isn't 100% fit. I'd play Gallagher over Kai as well currently. Either way we need to win this, huge game!

I can't see how GP can do much with the squad he's inherited over a few managers. Our midfield lacks creativity or the ability to score goals, we are always going to struggle until we look to replace Jorginho, Kovacic, Kante & RLC. Midfield is a huge area, even Liverpool are struggling now Henderson & Fabinho are declining. City are so strong due to their quality in the middle that dictates their style of play.
