MOTM vs Burnley (A) (PL)
David Luiz has been mental this season, a much improved player from a few years back. I fell asleep on the couch in the second half, though I think that was more a reflection of my state than that of the game's, as such everything is a bit of a blur. Went for Luiz though

Diego "the guv'nor" Costa
Just having a guess, but the poster is probably referring to his retrospective bans, his dummy spitting and his hamstrings. There is enough of a case to at least ask the question. I personally don't think he is unreliable and I think he's done really well to curb all the above this season, whilst being the best striker in the league.

Conte didn't know who Joey Barton was. Still doesn't

Gianluigi Donnarumma
I'm not forgetting anything. I just don't think we should ever overlook anyone just because we look set right now. And we don't.
-
Gianluigi Donnarumma
Player power rules. If we can't stop him from going and we don't have a top line keeper ready to go then we aren't as ruthless as we should be.

Gianluigi Donnarumma
The same could be said for the opposite. Why would we not sign potentially the greatest goalkeeper of all time, just because we had the greatest in the world at the time. It's hypothetical. But rather than wait for a problem, we could be proactive and prevent the problem.

Cesc Fabregas
I'd be inclined to agree.

Gianluigi Donnarumma
Your question was about talent, and whether we should be consistently looking for it even if we have players in that position at the moment, which we definitely should.
-
Gianluigi Donnarumma
Is that a serious question?

Following Our Nearest & Dearest Rivals, 2016/2017
Wenger's gone and told his fans to behave more like Spurs. That will go down well

Gianluigi Donnarumma
God? Is that really you?

Bertrand Traore
I'm reminded of an old Simpsons episode.

Gianluigi Donnarumma
Have you watched him play? He is unbelievable

Bertrand Traore
Great result for the young lad. John Stakes probably has an update on him.
-
Marcos Alonso
Positioning is probably his worst trait if I'm honest. Just ahead of his passing. He's much better in duels, rarely panics and has good core strength.

Man that is impressive!

Sergio Aguero
Can't even score against relegated QPR and relegation threatened Swansea

Sergio Aguero
It's just a sample size, you can make it smaller or bigger if you like. Smaller - have they really proved themselves? Bigger - other quality players have come and gone. Did he have a dry spell? 5 years - To me implies a reasonable level of consistency, experience and performance Though how many strikers really have more than 5 big seasons in their life? I wouldn't have thought many

Marcos Alonso
There's a reason a lot of people don't rate him and it's not because they've never heard of him and it's also not because they're forever unhappy. It doesn't take Einstein to see he has limitations. That being said he's had some great moments and he deserves full credit for that, hes certainly giving it his all. I couldn't agree more on the man vs boy Bellerin incident. Glad it was given and I would say that if it were the other way around as well.

Sergio Aguero
Most goals in the last 5 PL seasons: Sergio Agüero (90) Romelu Lukaku (76) Olivier Giroud (65) Harry Kane (63) Christian Benteke (60)

End of an era
I think its a testament to the culture both the past players and club employees, from the board to the kit guys, have instilled in the last 20-30 years that we are still competing for trophies. Money certainly helps, but it would be easy to get carried away with it and think that is all you need. A lot of people put in a lot of hard work. I love this new group, I think they have a level head most of the time and all seem to be enjoying their football and representing Chelsea. Onwards and upwards

Hello from Sydney, Australia
May as well stay away from Sydney if you want to do anything past midnight.

Chelsea Kits for the 2017/18 season
I don't love them, but white would be my fave.

Alvaro Morata
Yeah I largely agree with this. He has a great record outside of Chelsea and good on him for it. But they are for teams with different skillsets to ours, different way of playing.
