  1. Time to pack it up, Enzo lad. It will be a disaster, as I can't see us getting more than 70m for him. And even that would be generous.
  2. I am a bit scared of this, I can't lie. They have a lot of experienced players who will now do their best to improve Amorim. The atmosphere will also be electric at Old Trafford. I also don't think our players have the personality not to crumble under pressure. Not optimistic at all.
  3. If Pochettino’s conditions mentioned by The Athletic are real, I really doubt this gets done.
  4. Will turn into that in case they fail to extend his contract. At this point, there is no way we get more than 40m for him. Letting him go would be a sign of incompetence at best, if not a sign of desperation.
  5. Both of them would offer me a bit of hope, and hope is what I am desperate for. On the other hand, both have flaws. There is no obvious option on the market now, so I don’t know. The more I think about it, the more I come to realize that any new manager will have a very very difficult mission.
  6. Not a chance. We lost Koulibaly and Chilwell.
  7. Kepa should command his defence properly at set pieces. We are constantly conceding stupid goals like this with him as GK. Remember McGinn’s goal.
  8. Wtf was that? So predictable and yet our defence managed to let Rodrygo break.
  9. No one pays 11m for a 6 month loan just to keep the player on the bench. Problem is that we want to buy him. Maybe he would shine in a well-oiled mechanism, but the 1v1 misses are unjustifiable.
  10. I didn't necessarily mean the pressure on him, but the pressure on the whole club, especially on the board.
  11. Gallardo would be a huge gamble. Another manager who is unproven at this level. Imagine the pressure.
  12. It’s not about the current results only. It is also about the bigger picture. For example, I am very annoyed by the fact that there’re players who won’t be here next season and still get plenty of minutes. Why? Also, the owners themselves admit that there is “a sh*tshow” and everything is chaotic. There are talks about FFP related issues, then there is the stadium saga. Then there is the fact that we do not know who the next permanent manager will be. This is what’s bothering fans, the lack of hope for a better and calmer future.
  13. I believe Potter's biggest issue is his lack of charisma. It is not just the fact that we have been used to managers being sacked, but everytime that happened, the new manager was always someone who had something interesting or "special" about him. Jose was Jose, Frank was Frank. Antonio Conte was this energetic crazy guy, Sarri was this avid smoker who everyone expected to come and make Chelsea play like prime Barcelona, while Tuchel always knew how to say the right things during his speeches. Now we have Potter, this regular guy who talks like a therapist and who is MAYBE a bit too calm compared to what we were used to. He never seems to be bothered about the mess that we are in and it is hard for some of the fans to trust what he is doing, as we cannot see any passion or anger coming out of him. Not even during the games. So yeah, I can see why there are so many people who are asking for his head already. Yet, I do not think that is fair. We need to understand that there is a new culture that this club is trying to develop. We need to understand that it takes time. We need to remember that only a few months ago there were talks about us going into administration! People are complaining about Boehly and Co. not having a clearer vision, but it is difficult to have things put into place considering the nature of the takeover. Also, we need to remember that these guys have not inherited the culture at Manchester City or Bayern. We, as a club, were in a big mess recruitment-wise and wage-wise. Like it or not, it takes time. We will keep on suffering for a while and we need to accept that. But it will not last forever. Better times are coming. I personally trust Potter and I cannot wait to see what players we sign in the January window. I am not sure if we will make top 4 this season, but again, when the sanctions were imposed I wasn't 100% sure that we will make it TO this season. I am also sure that he is inteligent enough to adapt to his new job and to get better at communicating with the fans. Or maybe we will get better at understanding that sometimes jazz sounds better than heavy metal.
  14. Tuchel was not sacked because of bad results, it is quite obvious. New owners have the tendency to replace managers whenever they buy a club. Clearlake were unlucky as the manager that they had to replace was a guy who was widely loved by Chelsea fans. But mind you, should Tuchel have stayed, I do not think that the results would have drastically improved. And if that was the case, I am sure a lot of Chelsea fans would've turned on him. Quite a lot of content creators were already asking questions about him during the end of last season, when we were shaky. It was just a matter of time before people would've asked for Tuchel's head to fall.
  15. Ziyech should never wear a Chelsea jersey again in an official game, sorry.
  16. Potter told us that Wes will be back in 4-6 weeks exactly 4 weeks ago. Does anyone have any updates about his situation? Is he back from Dubai? I know that he was there with Reece and Reece was at the Bridge yestarday.
  17. I really hope we win this, as I have a deja-vu feeling about this season. It feels just like 2021. Catch a good run of form, play the best game of the season against an Italian team at the Bridge, one defender gets injured, then Reece gets injured and then it all goes downhill. Win today and everything changes.
  18. Rumour has it that they are after Renato Sanches too.
  19. He seems to have posted a picture from our training ground on Instagram:
  20. City just announced Kyle Walker. Good business for them.
  21. So when do you think this is going to be made official?
