Ashley Cole. Is season over?
we have Bridge mate, who some of us think is just as good as, if not better than Ashley. From what I read, and seeing jose's concern over Cole, I think it could be bad. Probably and ACL or the such. ANyway, We have bridg, and I think if push came to shove, then Morais or Boulahrouz can play out there

Tony Cas said the same thing, .............................. so I called him a c*nt. mate I call him and Townshend a C*nt no matter what they have said. I also realize that it was probably Tony Cas, and Not Townshend who said this when I was listening. Honestly, you would think Townshend wouldn't be so anti Chelsea considering he used to play for us!!

Music cover versions - where the cover improves the original
Willy and the Poor Boys is a good one, think it was their third album, right? Cosmos factory is a great album, glad to have another CCR fan on here. The sad thing about Cosmos, is that was the last album they recorded together. Their last album, can't remember the name of it, Tom Fogherty was not on it as he and his brother had fallen out. The last album was pretty poor though as John Fog had suddenly told the remaining two members that they were now responsible for 6 songs a piece on the next release, when John had taken all the responsibility before. Needless to say, their songs were bad! Anyway, all the previous albums up to and including Cosmos are grreat Bluesy, Swamp rock. And despite all their singing about bayous, they were actually from California

Thank you Jane, I am sure she will be mortified to know that she is on here for scrutiny, but oh well. At least I can tell her she has received good comments, except for a sweede who compares himself with vivien leigh!

Picture perfect!
no way i am tempting fate with an answer to this question. However, if we fail to do so, it is entirely your fault for bringing it up in the first place. However, I doubt it

Music cover versions - where the cover improves the original
just remembered about this thread and thought that there is one more song that I should add. Okay, this is yet another one of those where it is blasphemy to even suggest that the original can be bettered, but seriously this band does the original justice Okay, so the original is: "Heard it through the grapevine," probably most famously known is the marvin gaye fersion. However, Gladys knight and the pipps also covered it, and it was originally recorded though shelved by smokey robinson. Anyway, the cover version, and this song has been covered quite a bit, the band that recorded it added their own rock adn roll edge including wailing, smokey, sultry guitar solo's and one of the best vocalists of all time. THe band, Creedence Clearwater Revival. Seriusly, if you have not heard this version, check it out. If you like the song, like creedence, or like good bluesy rock and roll, then this is a must hear. It is on the Album "Cosmo's Factory" also a tremendous album with some great songs on there too.....run through the jungle, as long as I can see the light, who'll stop the rain, up around the bend, lookin out my back door.... KALOU!!!!!!! great little goal, and his first for the team in the premiership. Well taken. Townshend said that this is cruel on Blackburn, I don't think so Also, the commentary said that there is word from the Chelsea doctor that Terry could very well be back this weekend

sheva almost set frank up for his second, shame as the ball to sheva was behind him, but he did well to hold it up and feed lamps in for a shot on goal..... WTF GDsports has just lost it's broadcast

Rovers at Home- Glory
I would say that it shows the mark of a great keeper that he kept that out. It was a great effort by sheva, and an equally great save by Brad! I think it has been pretty even for sheva tonight, some decent efforts wasted (mainly the 1 on1 and the time drogs cushioned a header to him but his first touchw as heavy) and then the rest have been half chances/great saves Scott PS any news on the mighty Watford?

Rovers at Home- Glory
I think Sheva is looking more and more dangerous. He will bag one soon, I hope. Man Utd up 1-0, damn, and here was me getting excited when I saw it was still 0-0 after about 40 minutes

Happy Days for Bluebeard - Le Guen Quits/Sacked

Rovers at Home- Glory
Essien lucky not to give away a penalty there. Just realized in the bpl I changed geremi for diarra at the lat minute, and put diarra on the bench. Other than that, I would have got all the starteres and all the bench!!! Damn! Anyway, Essien diving in on a challenge in the area, might be okay to do so out in midfield, but try and prevent from doing that again in the box!!

Rovers at Home- Glory
mate after only 25 minutes I think that is being a touch harsh on Sheva. He has been marked well, and is getting into some good positions. A great cushioned header from ballack let him through, and his touch was just too heavy. earlier on, he and drogba almost kicked each other they were both so eager/in good positions to score. I think Sheva is looking hungry tonight, hope he bags one!

Premiership, how it could go
also you still have to consider injuries, and players returning. Not to mention form, as we have had a poor run in form, while the man u lot have been in good form. Hopefully with JT comming back, and Cech already back, we can hit a purple patch and close the gap. I never like relying on arse or the dippers to do us a fabour, but they might!

bbc commentry
I don't buy into the whole idea that you have to ahve a replica shirt every time one comes out to prove that you are a fan either, but I am for showing your colours. If that is a scarf or a flag, then that is just as good asa top[. I get what BJD is getting at too, that seeing as St Jams park has the most tops in the stands, then, according to sky, they must be passionate!
