is this going to far ?
I can't, but full do, believe that the FA are banning this. It has been part of the clubs history for a while now, and I think it is quite good humour and fun. If they were throwing it directly at players, then I could see that argument for it, but just lobbing it about is pretty harmless. I suppose the Fa will have to argue that it is a missile, and missiles are banned. Therefore, I think it could be the end of the celery days at the bridge, through no fault of the club's Scott

Frank out with a 'broken wrist' !
To be honest, I hoe Lamps doesn't ahve to play for England again for a while. We really need him fit, and focused for the run in of games we are about to ahve. We are still competing on 3 fronts, and that is enough for him without throwing international duties in there too Scott

Movies and all it includes
23 is some film that came out with Jim carey in it (another attempt to try and brisge the gap into serious acting.) In it, he reads a book in which he feels that he is the main character, and that everything he reads pertains to him. This is all explained by the mystical properties of the number 23....it really didn't look that good so not even watched it yet Scott

Sporting injuries
broken finger in my right hand from playing a sport with a funny shaped ball....went to catch the ball and the tip of the ball pushed my pinkie back to where my wrist was....had to snap it back into place before going to the doctor. Broke my right foot...it was doing something athletic, but not necesarily a sport. During a partial eclipse of the sun in a field in scotland (an no I am not making this up!0 Right knee ligament damage from motorcylce crash. Left ankle damage (still current) from a football match back in Scotland, unfortunately moved ot eh USA shortly thereafter, then had to find a job, then had to wait 3 months in that job before I was eligible for Health Insurance, then a further month before the paperwork cleared for me to get insured. Now I am insured it's off to the doctor then sports therapy, as my ankle sometimes gets sore, and my calve muscle gets numb!!! Scott

One for you, Pauly:
unfortunately it is a recurring trend not juist in Football. Honestly, out here in the States there are massive brawls that have broken out over high school and Junior High Football games (gridiron). Fathers making their kids practice until they take the fun out of the game, screaming at their own kids, making them feel worthless etc. I am a pro golfer (well, I was) and will never pressure my kids, should I have any, into taking up a sport just because I used to play it. A lot a parents see their children as achance for them (the parents) to live out their failed dreams...dad just missed making it as a baseball player so goes to every little league game and yells like the talent scouts are watching, hoping junior can hit the home run in the bottom of the ninth! Anyway, It is terrible that these parents put so much pressure on their kids, as they often burn the kids out, and cause even furhter resentment. Their is a young Pro golfer out here in the states (think the last name is Ohair), whos father used to train this kid relentlessly. rewarded him minimally if the kid played and made birdies, but punnished him severly for every bogey the kid made (made him run a mile per bogey, etc). The father also saw his kid as a commodity, and forced him into signing an agreement that the father would eb entitled to a percentage of the child's future golf earnings. Of course, because the kid was too young to fully realize what he was signing, the father didn't have a leg to stand on when Ohair made his first tournament cheque. now the kid and his dad never speak. Sad waht this "driven" fahter has done to the family that should have provided the kid with love and support throughout the childs career. Now, I cana lso say, show me a person who doesn't mind losing, and I will show you a loser. But to push a child to such anextent that they run away, take out law suits, etc.....it's terrible, and non conducive to rewarding a child for being good at something they enjoy Scott

Final at Wembley confirmed
it would be HISTORIC, if (and this is a big IF) we were to be the last team to win at the old Web-er-ley, and the first eam to win at the new one!!!!!!! Scott

Hair Today Gone Tomorrow
is he actually now divorced from his past wife (the blonde one we saw at the bridge often?) Might explain why he wasn't at our games, and lay all the claims that he is leaving us to rest Scott

Man. City vs Chelsea
Indeed, I fully expect every game for teh rest of this season to eb treated like it is our final. One slip up and it is OVER, Man Utd will be hard pressed to drop the 4 points needed for us to have a chance to catch them. Anything more than 4 and it is over. I fully expect this to be a tough, low scoring afair. Hopefully we can take home the 3 points with a 0-1 win

Stage is set.....
the odds on this happening have got to be a million to one, but I like your thinking.

Diarra and Maka ?
What about the goal JFH scored for Charlton against us ? fair point mate, but my main point is that those instances of him diving in are fewer and more far between than those of seasons precious. I am merely saying that he doesn't scare me "as muc" and that he has done well acting as our only CB for most of this season Scott

Gallas 'tormented'
what a tosser he, gallas, is! It is almost as if he feels he should still be at Chelsea. Now, we can all agree that he might be difficult as a person, and he showed it several tiems with us (both when we were trying to get him, and then when he was trying to leave) But lets be honest, as a defender he could walk onto nearly any squad in the world, and we have missed him big time this season Scott

Sinclair loan extended
good deal alround I thin. I kow Dave the Green will be happy. Anyway, on a more serious note, do you think he will be ready for first team at Chelsea? I can see us having him back for the pre season circus, and then maybe loaning him out on a longer (1 year) deal if he fails to make it Scott

madrid barca
all goals by messi show his huge potential. The one thing I had to laugh at was the commentator saying "RVN doesn't miss those" when talking about his first goal. It is roughly the second goal he has ever scored from outside the area in his career!

Bloomin' Orlando !!!!
There are only two stations that play Chelsea games, Setanta and FSC. Nearly all games play on one of these two, the only game I have not been able to watch this season live was the Tottenham game this past weekend. Here is where to find the TV schedule for Setanta: http://na.setanta.com/portal/systemcont ... n=channel& Here is where to find the TV schedule for FSC: http://msn.foxsports.com/other/story/920998 FSC plays on Comcast and DirecTV (not sure if any others), whereas Setanta only plays on DirecTV. Call the local pubs and ask about these stations. How do you get Setanta out here? I have Cable so can get FSN, but I don't know about Setanta, do you have to have Direct TV for that?

Our right side
Sweepy really offers nothing, he keeps losing the ball whenever he tries to dance around players, and apart from "that" cross to Crespo, I can't really remember him doing much more. Paulo was never really an attacking option going forward, he often crossed the half way line and then looked to move the ball on to a midfielder. Particularly a move I liked,a dn I can't explain why he is not in the team more. Geremi is decent, but again lacks consistent game play to be totally effective. His crossing is sometimes wayward, but he can take a good free kick. Make no mistake we have missed Joe Cole, but I think he is more of a "tip of the diamond" player than a right winger. But he is effective there. I think the loss of Duffer mean that we really didn't have a good interchangeable pair of wingers. A right sided winger, Quaresma?, could be a good one. But it depends on how Jose sees Kalou's role? Scott
