bit help needed
While on the subject, does anyone have the picture of Racquel Welch when she came to the bridge as a guest f Ossies, and they took a pic of her in the Chelsea strip? I remember having it in the back of one of the Member's magazines, but left that one back in Scotland!

Boulahrouz
I would like Alex to be on our team, but at who's expense? He is a central defender, right? So that means no Carvs or Terry. Right back, I think he can play there, but that would mean Johno wasn't comming back. LB, we have Bridgey and Cole. I doubt and of JT Carvs or Alex would want to sit on the bench waiting for their turn as Boulah did this season. Plus, you ahve to remember how good he was against Ronnie at Barca, and also that he suffered on hell of an injury, then hardly played again!

Lampard speaks
If this were true, but again see Loz' comment. I think he would be talking about the backroom staff who didn't do anything to quell the rumours about every player, and Jose leaving, and teh RA Sheva battle for power, all that stuff. Basically there was no solid backing from the club to say that all players were staying, and that so was Jose. This caused the people in the dressing rooms to wonder, and to lose faith in their club. The club should have spoken up!

Sheva asks for time
well at least they are not saying that he is asking for a transfer...give it a week though!

Nuno Morais has moved to Cyprus
Funny that we never really saw him play when he was a huge favourite of Jose's who saw him as part of our future Scott

A New Striker - Who Do You Want?
I think more so out this side of the pond mate, I see it as being a big deal over here as he is meant to be the saviour of the MLS. Back home he is merely seen as a funny anecdote of a once great player who has moved to La so his pig faced wife can try and acting/singing career and he can swan about signing autographs and scoring from an occasional free kick...oh, and getting paid a lot for it! Some Chelsea pix from the 60's

A New Striker - Who Do You Want?
So would I, but what team would realistically accept sheva for someone who could produce 25 goals a season? I love Sheva, but us getting him, I fear was a huge mistake and will go down as one of the most expensive flops in sports transfer history!

the fat lady .......
Considering our injuries, and the amount of key players that went missing, and players played out of position, I think we can hold our head high for what the Club achieved this season. Just to sya it has been a great time this season, and as always with Chelsea, there is jubilation, and complete heartbreak. I truly hope the club does not go mad in the off season, and that we keep Jose. Speaking to teh off season, here is to all the siliness that will undoubtably happen, and every "wonderkid" this side of guatamala will be linked with us, Thanks again for the journey Scott

A New Striker - Who Do You Want?
I still think that you had the same list of strikers that you wanted, and I remember saying that Zlatan has always been your choice, and Eto'o would be no good because he will be away during the ACN so really we have no real choice, just a list you felt may suit who you want. Zlata would not suit, and Eto'o isa giant ego who wouldbe gne during the ACN which is not helping our cause at all Scott

Liverpool vs. Chelsea - UCL 2nd Leg
It is a great read there Just, adn thanks for sharing. I was saddened even watching on TV all the way out here in the stats by two things. Firstly, and I have said this before, that we don't have a stadium where everyone sings. we don't have an "anthem" that everyeon sings during the games. YNWA is certainly a sound to behold when ringing out (I remember when Celtic played Liverpool in the UEFA cup, the sound in parkhead was immense). I don't care if it did get quiet later on, I just feal that large parts of Stamford Bridge enver sing, ever.. Secondly, I remember the cameras pointing into teh crowds, a lot, during the game, and showed the scarves, adn the singing etc of the liverpool fans. Fair enough, however, it often pointed into the Chelsea section once or twice and it was showing Asians with their cameras etc just clicking away! I know we are sponsored by Samsung, but come on!! I was gutted to see that. We stand up about our support, but our support is being priced out. I remember thinking, "how the hell do these people have tickets, when you know full well there are real fans of our football club who are no there becasue they can't afford it!" I really hope we kick teh ticket allocation into check and give it to the real people, the real fans. If Jose wants SB to become a fortress we need to get the soldiers in their in the first place, not some tw*t with a camera and the latest replica top! Scott

Senior Chelsea FC Officials Involved In Helicopter Crash !
Man, not again! RIP to all who perished. Word of advice to all Chelsea fans thinking of flying in a helicopter...don't! I am not usually one for coincidence, but this is just scary

Kalou
I think he could play nicely as a secondary striker, but his ability to run behind defenders is always a great thing, so he can be used wide also. A great problem for us to have!

Sinclair IN squad for Arsen*l
He may get a shot on the field late on, he may not play. He may just sit on the bench, but it is good to see Jose giving him a shot, and this also, in a more positive way, means tht Jose is still going to be here next season. However, some pressure on young Scotty's shoulders Scott

Liverpool vs. Chelsea - UCL 2nd Leg
I really can't belive that we set out so negatively. I mean, one goal from us, and the scousers would have had to score 3 to go through. And yet, right from teh start it was long ball after long ball. Not one of our players looked like they wanted to take the game to the scousers, and this was shown by the first half ball posession stats. I honestly think, at one point, they had 71% to our 29%. we looked like a team lost before it even went to extra time. Drogba was back to diving around. He held his face for 4 mintutes after the BALL hit him in the face? "Get up, and get on with it you f*ck*g PONCE!!!!" Was shouted at him a good few times by me tonight. We have such creativity in our team, Mikel, Kalou, Essien, Cole, Robben and we failed to use any of them effectively. I just can't believe we were one step away from a CL final, and we played that lacluster. Scott PS. In times of doom and gloom, I can always thank God I am not a Tottenham fan!

come on AC Milan
The thought of a Man U treble still rest with us losing to them in teh FA cup final, we have a shout in them not winning, so we should not talk of a treble for them either. They still have to play Milan tomorrow also, so lets not count their chickens just yet. however, the thought of the Scousers singing "6 European Cups and 18 peagues, that's what we call 'istory!" is enough for me to be cherring on man utd!

Bye Bye Jose, hello...who?
Okay, this to me, is the end for Jose. Now, not ebcause I want him to leave, nor do I wish for him to leave. In an ideal world he would stay until his contract ends in 2010, and he would leave as one of teh greatest, infact, THE GREATEST manager Chelsea Football Club has ever had. I however, hope that if he does stay, he will try and use some of the creativity of the players he has signed, and not rely mainly on the muscle of a power forward. I also hope that he gets rid of this notion of players being untouchable. Lampard has not delivered for many games now, his passion seems to eb at a low, and his crossing and free kicks are woefull at best. However, jose did say that he would need three years to form a team with enough gel to win the titles. Succsss came in his first and second season, and to some extent this season with silverware already in the trophy cabinet. However, the carling cup pales in comparison with the glory of theCL (put out tonight by liverpool), and the EPL, (which altough mathematically is still achievable, is very unlikeyl to be comming back to the bridge). However, will Jose be a victim of his own success. Stating that we needed 3 years before we could contend, and then winning straight out of the gates? Also, I am pretty sure that this team, this season, is one that jose has fully put together. Maybe with the exception of Roman's signing, Shevchanko. So he has no one else to blame for his "failure" to win either of the two titles we so desperately want. Of course, there is still the FA cup, but that has still to be decided, and belive me, I would not be unhappy in a season where we won both the CC and the FA. But, the inability to win the cup with the big ears again, is that the final nail in the coffin for Jose? I fear it may be. Now, don't accuse me of being a johnny come lately, and saying that I feel we should win these titles year in year out, for that is not what I am saying. I love Chelsea, and I love jose, and I will forever be thankfull to him for letting me experience Chelsea win the premiership not once, but twice in my lifetime. But, in this era, the Era of Roman's bankbalance, we are in a very fortunate position of being able to contend for MAJOR silverware, and Roman has made it more than evident that the CL would be his pride and joy. Failure to appease the boss, I fear, means failure to perform in his eyes, so he will looks elsewhere. So, if Jose does go, who do you see comming in to replace him. I hope it is not Hiddink, and I think that is merely a name the rpess have come up with due to his Russian ties. And I don't even entartain the tought of Alardyce or Klinssman! So who would be your pick, and why? For me it has to eb someone with a great knowledge of European football, and someone who cna put teh flair and creativity back into a side brimming with so much potential. Do we feel that there will be a swap with Jose going to Inter, and Mancini comming to the bridge? Scott
