I love Full Metal Jacket. So amny people say that after the training camp (which is brilliant) that it just turns to another nam movie. I disagree, as this is one of the few films where you actually, at the end, get up close and very personal with the killer! Also it all takes place in a city setting where most are set in the jungle I also like 2001 a space oddessey, just because I am a bit of a Kubrick fan. The big lebowski, blazzin saddles, are great comedies. Too late, to think of more, but I am suprised it has taken so long for another top 10 list to surface! Scott

the stranglers, again a great band, but I think Rattus Norvegicus is brilliant, especially Goodbye Toulousse, and Get a Grip on Yourself. That was 77 though, but still a great band! Scott

ROB I completely appreciate all you have to say!! This is a joke, and maybe we should start getting cheaper players in 9well at least not paying over the odds). However, i do feel that if we want to compete on all levels we need world class palyers in. However, I wouldn't mind us also bringing in world class prospects, thus reducing the wages. everyeone should start off on a certain wage, and only move up if they have earned it! Scott

Anyone seen Roman at the games again? I know he was off in the middle east, and I know that he was putting the money up for the tournament so had a vested interest, but has anyone seen him in the stands again lately? Surely the competition is over by now, and that he should be back watching HIS team! I know that this is paranoia, but what if he does walk? He has stated that he wants to hand the club onto his son, and he has set up a 200 Million trust fund for the club, but why has he suddenly shyed from the stands? Seems like the MLS are taking further steps to solidify soccer as a sport out here in the good ol' US of A. Man Utd, as we know, formed an agreement with the NY Yankees. Now Arsenal have an agreement with MLS team Colorado Rapids. Rob, fo me it was always point one. He stood out a man city, and was branded promising etc. I also think that we paid well over the odds for him so I feel that the high price tag maybe a bit daunting for him. Anyway, I never wanted us to sign him in the first place, but now he is here I wish him all the best, although I know it will never happen. He is very similar everytime he attacks, and he is easily read. He has a good low CofG and he always uses it to cut to the left, where he should be able to change directions without much effort. The only thing he has really done for us that was memorable, was put in a great cross for Crespo to head home! Scott

glad to see he is still battling away! One thing though, is I doubt we will se this happening with the lies of Frankor John. They will probably retire after being at a big club, always playing in top divisions, and not going into the lower leagues to continue to earn a pay check...they get paid enough these days that palyers can stay top flight all their pro careers then retire on top Scott
