Rusty-Man got a reaction from the special one in Dominic SolankeI say sell him with a buy back clause on it.

Rusty-Man got a reaction from DonAntonio in Antonio Conte - Now Officially ManagerFabregas is too much of a liability really. Can't play well when pressed and can't defend not run. He has no place in this team.

Rusty-Man got a reaction from PedroMendez in Lewis Baker- Could he make it?A very underrated player who is going under the radar and bit with this loan. Playing very well.

Rusty-Man reacted to CFCholland in Victor MosesYou've got some issues, might want to seek a bit of help. -
Rusty-Man got a reaction from didierforever in Eden Hazard - Chelsea LegendNeymar who, in 2014/15, scored 39 goals and got 11 assists from a wide position and last year was Barcelona's best player when Messi was out at the beginning of the season. He is clearly a better and more effective player and his best season was better then Hazards best. Sure he is inconsistent but he is still more consistent then Hazard, who hasn't shown any consistency throughout his career (Bar maybe 2014/15 where Neymar was even more consistent).

Rusty-Man got a reaction from reparto corse in Eden Hazard - Chelsea LegendNo he doesn't. This season we have dominated possession (Third highest in the league behind Liverpool and Manchester City) and have dominated territorialy (Around 30% of our play is in the attacking third, the same amount as Man City). Our problem is a lack of offensive threat, not a defensive mindset. Hazard is a big part of our attack being so poor as he isn't looking up to do something and link up with the other attackers.
Of course we do need other better offensive players to go with him but Hazard is the reason our attack is so blunt not the other way around.
-
Rusty-Man got a reaction from reparto corse in Eden Hazard - Chelsea LegendOzil and Sanchez have Giroud and Walcott around them. Coutinho and Firmino have Henderson and Lallana. Last year De Bruyne and Aguero had Navas and a sh*t Sterling.
Fact is Hazard isn't as good offensively as these guys (Not even getting started on the La Liga teams). He would not be the main man in either of these sides.

Rusty-Man got a reaction from reparto corse in Eden Hazard - Chelsea LegendNo he isn't.
Suarez, Neymar, Bale, Lewandowski and even De Bruyne and Aguero are just better then him in most parts of football. They score and assist more, they have more world class performances, they have less invisible days, they are still affective when they aren't playing well and they actually change matches more consistently.
Even Costa in our team is better then Hazard. He is certainly more important and pivotal to our attack.

Rusty-Man got a reaction from Maidstone Blue in Antonio Conte - Now Officially ManagerFunny thing is our solutions are out on loan.
Traore, Musonda, Christensen, Ake and even Baker coming in would fix a lot of the problems in the team.

Rusty-Man got a reaction from reparto corse in WillianThe sum of his offensive game is doing a little shimmy before passing back to Ivanovic.
-
Rusty-Man got a reaction from Ernie_blue in WillianHe does not beat his defender though. He receives the ball at his feet, faces his defender, does the weird shimmy before seemingly giving up on the thought of beating his man and playing it back to Ivanovic.
The only time he beats his man is outside his own box where he actually uses his pace and agility to get past them after winning the ball. Everywhere inside the opponents half he doesn't seem willing to beat them.
There have been so many times where he is one on one against his fullback and does a little shimmy before passing it back. Instead of drive at them he waits until the whole defence is set before 0's single it sideways/backwards. A big part of us looking useless in attack is his complete lack of offensive game.

Rusty-Man got a reaction from CFCholland in MaticThere is no such thing as a pure defensive or holding midfielder in a 4-4-2. Both players have to cover too much ground and offer in all phases of the game compared to a three man midfield. Kante was always giving support in attack, drifting out wide to the left and getting forwards. Just watch these 17 minutes and tell me he was a holding midfielder who was unadventurous going forwards:
To me, a holding midfielder is a player who holds his position in front of the defence and screenseldom them when the opposition attack/counter. In a possession side, a holding midfielder is also an out ball for re-circulation of the ball when the team are in possession. Look at Busquets for Barca as the perfect holding midfielder. He sits in front of the defence and shields them from attacks, rarely charging forwards himself. He is also a huge part of Barcelona'so possession game, helping shift the ball from side to side and work space from deep. That was how Matic played for Chelsea and is the job of a holding midfielder in a midfield three.
Kante translating what he did in a midfield two to a midfield 3 would be the box to box player, winning the ball back and charging forwards to support the attack. Kante should not be doing the job that Busquets is doing but rather the job Matic is currently being asked at Chelsea. Vice versa for Matic who is at his best when he can sit in front of the defence and predominantly break up the play and sit as an out ball in possession.
People compare Kante to Makelele but I always felt he was more akin to Keane. An all rounder midfielder who was a defensive monster.

Rusty-Man got a reaction from Van Butsen in Tammy AbrahamWe don't get the ball near the box so he probably won't with us. Maybe another premier league side.
-
Rusty-Man got a reaction from Essien19 in Antonio Conte - Now Officially ManagerOur problems listed down:
. Little goal threat (Only Costa as a consistent goalscorer)
.Little to no creativity (Fabregas is the only player who seems to be creative and decisive with his passing and he is inconsistent)
. A midfield that can't keep hold of the ball under pressure
. No width as both wingers and fullbacks are inverted (Both opposite foot) or old and past it
. Defenders who can't handle sustained pressure from an offensive side and lack organisation
. Half the team seemingly wanting to press up high and the other half wanting to sit deep
We are a complete mismatch of players that don't fit together. Like a jigsaw for different puzzles just jumbled together. We need much more cohesion in our style and the players we want to sign in the future. We need creative, decisive offensive players. Too many guys like Hazard and Willian doing silly little tricks which don't affect the game. We need midfielders that can hold onto the ball and bridge the gap between defence and attack. We need faster defenders who want to push up and close the gaps between defence and attack. And we also need fullbacks who will offer width and first time balls into the box.
About 5/6 players there.

Rusty-Man got a reaction from didierforever in Antonio Conte - Now Officially ManagerWe aren't even doing that. We are sitting deep and then playing possession football when we get the ball. It's paradoxical.
I don't think I have ever seen a new manager come in and show absolutely zero change in style or form the way Conte has. It's been prettysh*t from him up till now. He doesn't seem to even know what he wants to do with the team.
