Cesc Fabregas
i thought you were referring to this i just meant high pressing attacking teams. Germany played when in possession of the ball with their 2 cb's almost on the midway line and the full backs up high so they could outnumber the opponent (although in this particular example they played against Conte's 3-5-2 so they weren't outnumbered) in this example Hummels has the ball but when the ball moves up field the central defenders move up to the midway line and the two full backs become wingers

you cant play all out attacking football with defenders who are slow as sh*t. If your gonna play like that you want your defenders to move up to the midway line the way germany played in the euros with their 2 CB on the halfway line the only players on their own half. Now imagine what would happen with Terry, Luiz, Ivanovic and Cahill.

hallelujah he's seen the light

Thibaut Courtois
yeah but we need some defenders and we could get a good goalkeeper for under 30 million probably anyway (as the prices for goalkeepers aren't that high usually). Varane isn't playing and he is a good defender and young and fast. We could take a look at Mattia Perin from Genoa or maybe Handanovic to replace Courtois. Almost every decent goalkeeper is better then a Courtois who is daydreaming of Spain.

if we dont play them we will never find out. As far as i'm concerned we have nothing to lose with playing them right now. They will be motivated and even if they would make mistakes they can learn and develop. They cant do any worse then the experienced defenders we play now anyway. I would say give Aina Terry Tomori Dasilva a try

I agree. Why not give Tomori a chance or Jay Dasilva on left back.- Gary Cahill - PL CL FAC LC EL champion
After the swansea game I think he showed a lot of class in the post match interview and you could tell he was angry/disappointed.- Thibaut Courtois
Maybe if he is so keen on a transfer to Spain we can trade him with Real for Raphaël Varane- Charly Musonda jr.
He seems to improve in his decision making under Poyet. Maybe he knows what he is doing not starting Musonda and using him as a substitute instead.dc19 changed their profile photo- Hull Vs Chelsea (PL) Sat 01/10/ 2016 KO 15:00 GMT
Courtois Aina Terry Luiz/Tomori Dasilva Kante Fabregas Chalobah Moses Hazard Costa Cesc playing as a deeplying playmaker (like Pirlo did in Juventus) with Chalobah & Kante covering him in defensive duties- Thibaut Courtois
Eduardo Carvalho isnt bad either- Cesc Fabregas
I think Fabregas would be perfect in a 3-5-2 playing a similar role as Pirlo did in Juventus. He could be the one who dictates the play with Kante and Matic/Luiz backing him up defensively. He has the intelligence and ability to play that way. With Juventus it was Pirlo who played behind Marchisio and Vidal as a deep-lying playmaker while he was well in his 30's.- Arsenal Vs Chelsea (PL) Sat 24/09/ 2016 KO 17:30 GMT
Arsenal fans are just a bunch of manic depressives with a lot of delusions. Now they have their little manic stage. Whenever i want to laugh i just watch some of the arsenalfantv vids on youtube- Hello friends
let me start off with saying that i know that i can not consider myself a fan in the true sense of the word like most of you guys who have been around since forever and go to every game and grew up in and around London. That said i've started to become impressed with chelsea since 2004 (when i was 10 years old) especially the games against Barcelona. The era before Mourinho i explore using youtube as to get to know the history of the club, and i often watch back games (especially when we lose during the weekend) from the past. If anyone of you has some footage from games with the original english commentary or knows where i can find some outside of youtube i would really appreciate it if they could let me know Diego Costa is my favorite player at the moment. I love his passion and his drive. My favorite player of all time has to be Andrea Pirlo and i secretly hope that conte will try Fabregas in a similar role if he would switch to 3-5-2 and play him the way Pirlo played for his Juve years. My philosophy on football is a mix between Marcelo Bielsa and Diego Simeone. I love teams that show a lot of spirit and hard work and aggression in defensive situations and technical skills and beauty in attacking situations. Thats why i was very happy with the appointment of Antonio Conte as i was really impressed with Italy during the European Championship and especially with his passion. the way they defend in this match is incredible I would love to see chelsea play in a similar way under Conte. Whatever happens i will support Chelsea and Conte - Gary Cahill - PL CL FAC LC EL champion
