Callum Hudson-Odoi
Absolutely feel the same about Mount or anyone who broke the lockdown at the height of the virus. Selfish ***** !

Callum Hudson-Odoi
It's not just about what he does in matches and on the training ground. He also needs to hang out with the right kind of people. The kind of people who whouldn't have broken the lockdown to get their leg over with a hooker. By all accounts, Ravell Morrison continued to hang out with "the lads" and look where that's got him. JT could easily have gone off the rails but he was smart enough to have a good look at his behaviour before it dameged him and as we know he went on to be a great pro. CHO will soon be leaving his teen years behind him, so the time is coming to start behaving more responsibly.

Mateo Kovačić
There was a moment in the second half on Sunday which typified his performances for me. He showed all the lovely technical ability we all know he has by running at pace past a couple of UTD players taking him to a yard or so outside the box. He had a clear shot at goal available to him but continued to run across the box and ended up losing the ball. As another poster said about him recently, when he gets near the box he's like a golfer with the Yips. Sooooo frustrating!

Chelsea v Leeds United (PL) ?
Eddie McCcreadie doing a Bruce Lee impression on Billy Bremner in the Cup Final replay and not even a foul was given lol.

Our New Stadium
I think this report will be the beginning of the end for RA at Chelsea. He'll never want to live here again, so selling up looks highly likely now.

Callum Hudson-Odoi
According to the Independent - CHO might consider offers to leave Chelsea. His lack of playing time is given as the reason. Just a journo sitting on their ass making stuff up on a slow news day.

Callum Hudson-Odoi
While he hasn't got and never had the killer pace of a Sterling, that move yesterday when he flashed a shot over the bar showed he's got back the crucial zip over a yard to create the space for a shot or deadly pass in or around the box. So it does look like he has at least made a full recovery from what could well have been a career damaging injury.

Liverpool v Chelsea (PL) Wed 22nd July 2020 20:15 GMT
Tbh, if Anfield was full of fans I think we'd be blown away in this game. But it's not going to be, so that is helpful to us. As usual, I think it's going to be down to their front three. If they're really up for it I can't see anything but a win for Liverpool. But as we know, football is a funny old game and anything can happen on the day.

Callum Hudson-Odoi
I'm not convinced he's the real deal, but surely we should have learned from how badly we messed up with Salah and KDB. Given him another year or two and if he's still not producing then move him on. Also, i really could care less about stuff like him not playing with a smile on his face. Besides, how many players do or have done that? Kante, Zola spring to mind but not many others.

Olivier Giroud
Got to give him a lot of credit for the way he's taken his chance of being the first choice. Possibly playing his most cosistently good football since arriving in England. Runs as fast as an OAP, but the upside of that is he doesn't need pace to be effective. So as long as he doesn't pick up a serious injury and keeps his desire, he can be a very useful player for a few more seasons to come.

Certainly not comparing CHO to those players. Just saying those very talanted players (Platini being a truly great player) were not exactly renowned for their hard work, but nobody cared because they consistently produced the goods. Same will happen with CHO if he does it.

We've got a new Kepa
DDG makes Kepa look world class! Shocking to see such a decline of a once good keeper
-
Reece James
Has to be said Utd were awful all over the pitch, but seeing that i've been critical of James it's only fair to praise him after a good all round performance.

Callum Hudson-Odoi
re the body languge. Chris Waddle used to lope around the pitch at times. Glen Hoddle and Matt le tissier were not exactly renowned for their hard work. Platini could be seen standing with his hands on his hips while Giresse and Tigana did the donkey work. Next season, if CHO starts scoring and creating nobody will give a toss about his body language.

Remaining PL games
But, if Utd fail to beat West Ham, we'll only need one more point.

Remaining PL games
It's looking like a great result for us! However, it's still very much open for all 3 teams. Because of goal difference even a draw at Liverpool might mean we'd still need to beat Wolves to be sure of CL.
-
Mateo Kovačić
Nah, it'll always be seen as a bonus if any defenders chip in with goals or assists. Same was as a forward like Drogba could chip in with useful defensive work.
-
Remaining PL games
The players are clearly knackered and with the leagues games being more important i'd like to see us play a weakened team against Utd - Rest Pulisic, Azpi, Giroud, Willian and Kova.
-
Remaining PL games
As pointed out a few pages back, one win from the last two games might not be enough. If Utd and Leicester win their next games and draw on the final day, we will need 4 points.
-
Mateo Kovačić
The current 3 are a horrible combination of players who do not compliment each other at all!
-
Remaining PL games
The only problem i have being in the Europa League is playing on Thursdays. I don't see why they can't move the games back to the traditional Tuesday and Wednesday.
-
Mateo Kovačić
This 'why do we struggle to break down teams who get a lot of men behind the ball and moans about lack of midfield creativity?' is consistently brought up in match day threads. Well what do we expect when we have Kova, Kante and Jorgino? We can't say it's not Kova's job to create or score, the same with the other two, then bitch about lack of creativity from them.

Remaining PL games
The Scousers should damn well help us in the battle to keep UTD out of the CL!
-
Fikayo Tomori
By now.l, Frank should have worn out his vocal chords shouting "wake up" at our dozy defenders.

Callum Hudson-Odoi
Next season is a huge one for him! Well past his injury so no excuses. He produced a lovely moment the other night when he ran at defenders then laid off a nice ball which nearly ended in what would have been a brilliantly worked goal. That is what we need to see a lot more of - confidence and no hesitation to run at defenders rather than too often looking to make a safe pass. If he produces enough of those runs, adds enough goals and assists, he'll make it at Chelsea. If he doesn't, he'll eventually be moved on.
