I appreciate what you are saying about the language but a keeper doesn’t take long to learn a system. Should be pretty easy for him to adapt with a few training sessions how he likes a keeper to play especially as they say he’s good with his feet and has played a similar way already

I don’t really see how Fekir fits into the system plays either as F9 or off the forward. Don’t really see the benefit in playing him out wide when the club obviously rate Pedro and Willian on the right

This is not a dig at all but I am comparing it to my experience when you go from youth football to reserve football at semi pro level the difference is large when you go from youth team to first team at that level the difference is worlds apart. I don’t think people understand this unless you have played any sort of level of football. That’s why most guys need sending out on loan and only a very small percentage actually come straight into the first team unless they are built like men. It’s not football manager you can not just be thrown in and everything is fine. You need easing into a squad over a season. I read a lot on here that “well he’s played well for the youth team”. Our youth team win almost every game 3,4,5-0 It’s easy for them at the moment.

Depends how the deal is structured with add ons personally I can’t see it ever reaching that amount. Considering he has already rejected a 125k per week deal I don’t think wages are a massive problem for clubs with the premier league money even the size of palace now days. Unless Willian goes Man Utd I don’t see the logic in signing Zaha or Bailey

Chelsea’s have to sign the players that have done ‘f**k all’ now and should be buying players with potential and looking to invest time in them like we have done with hazard as that’s the only way now we will end up with top players. We are not in the league anymore of going to buy the best talent. If Leon Bailey gets 25 goals next year and does ‘something’ he’s out of your price range If Zaha goes to a top club and players really well again we ain’t going to buy him people must be realistic as to where we are as a club now

Personally I think Donnuruma is all hype. You call Butland a donkey and name a keeper that had a poor season last year. Most people haven’t watched him yet on a forum and he’s a world beater. He’s on massively high wages and is one of the best payed goalkeepers in the world. People talk about a risk with Butland well he’s twice the risked he is. Butland is a good solid goalkeeper and would be a clever signing by Chelsea. Before the World Cup it was a toss of a coin between him and Pickford and how much would Pickford be now 60M+

He's good but *very* young. It'd be a hell of a gamble taking a young kid away from home like that. Maybe if we bought him this year, loaned him out like we did Courtois and played Willy this year it might make sense but I'd be concerned if we were to make honour number one this year. Willy Cabelero is a poor goalkeeper that will cost us points. We must get someone or we will not qualify for the champions league with him in goal. It’s a hard window to judge clubs on as it’s been hampered by clubs shortening it by two or three weeks and the players still not returning from holidays. I think most fans must feel the same as we do, the only clubs that have done good business so far are Liverpool West Ham and Fulham. Arsenal have signed a few players but no one of any ilk just packing out the squad. by not signing players it will hopefully give a few players the chance to break through like RLC who would have suffered if we had sign golovin and the first team opportunity for CHO. For me I would have loved to add martial and if that happens which it still could i think we have had a good window. I don’t particularly have a concern over the goalkeeper because if Courtois stays we have a world class keeper and if he goes Jack Butland is a good solid replacement. I am not saying that he is world class because he’s not but he is a top keeper and will be available

It’s done on information I think readily available but the main part for them is the money placed on a bet will instantly change odds. Also if there are a few larger bets placed the bookies sometimes stop the market altogether. I doubt they have or would be allowed to trade on insider knowledge as it is illegal with stocks and shares and imagine it can’t be legit if you go the same with this too

I agreed with you but believe it’s more to do with us not being able to 1. Sell out strikers for the price we want and 2. Sign our preferred options. Personally I believe Higuin is ac Milan bound. It looks like it’s falling into place for a bonucci Higuin swap deal. I just can’t see Milan spending over 60m on 1 player that they can get a better alternative cheaper especially after all the FFP problems
