I think manure would be the biggest opposition if they decide to splash the cash. They still have bigger pulling power for players than us.

Three reasons I'd go for Aguero. 1. Age 2. Potentially a better player. 3. French players can be a pain in the arse. Both players would fit into any team in the world so I'd happy with either.

I was standing directly behind the goal in the MHL when he took that and it was mighty. Apart from the accuracy and power it's also the arrogant way he strides up to place the ball.

Firstly I think most of the comments in 'shout' were only in jest, certainly that is the way I perceived them. However I believe that quite a few fans, like me, were probably not that impressed with Ancelottis appointment but are hoping upon hope that he will bring us much success. My only objection to his appointment is not based on tactics or style of play but basically the ammount of success he had with one of the biggest teams in the world in the 8 years he was with them, and that he let his team get very old. That worries me when he has inherited a team who's strongest starting 11 must average in the high 20's.

Also heard that we're signing Ross Turnbull from Middlesbrough who's at the end of his contract.

I've no problem with Ricky or Deco going, this is the age we should be letting players go if we've got the right sort of adequate younger cover. For some reason I can't see Tevez coming to us, much as I'd be happy enough to see him in our colours. As for the Glenn Johnson sorry I just think it's beyond belief.

Must agree PloKoon. I think he's ok in that position standing in for injuries or suspensions. In the first leg SF against Barca Henry showed him up to be fairly average at RB and slow on the turn.

He has been great for us after not a such convincing start, but I think the time is right for both player and club.

One of the figures bantered about is £45M which would be stupid money and I don't believe we would pay anything like that ammount. Could well be just agent talk looking to get him a better contract.
