  1. Hard to hope for a Liverscum win, but good luck Coco. Good effort so far. I was my usual crap with 2/7
  2. Frank also does a tremendous amount of work defensively which tends to go unnoticed. In the 4 listed maybe only SG would come close.
  3. http://www.123football.com/stadiums/spain/camp-nou/index.htm gives Nou Camp as Length: 105 m Width: 72 m
  4. I think 0-0 was a great result. I do believe Barca will score at the bridge but I have faith that we can score 2-3 against that defence and win the match outright without away goals counting.

  6. I think anyone who knows about football would appreciate the way we played the game. The only ones having a go are those looking to take a cheap dig at us as per usual.
  7. Although I think we will rest some players I think those coming in will be up for it. 2-1
  8. goose replied to just's topic in Chelsea FC Rumours
This was the rumour when I was talking to Chelsea fans before the match. I was surprised that at the Nou Camp they were still selling tickets at the box office right up to the kick off. They would however only sell to spanish but it was easy enough to get talking to some of the locals and bung them a few Euro to go and buy you one.
  9. Has to be Cech. 1. For his saves. 2. He had an arrogance and confidence about him, and the way he casually strolled about delaying his kick out really f**ked Barca off. Special word for Malouda as well who done his part in keeping Messi and Alves quiet and yet was the only one adding a bit of support to Drogs,
  10. Just home from Barcelona and was lucky enough to get a ticket. Would have been great to have seen a 4-4 but was very happy with the 0-0. For me it looked obvious in the first few mins that we were going for a 0-0 and maybe pick up something on the break. From the first kick out Cech delayed it and pissed about replacing the ball and was generally time-wasting which he carried out right though the game much to the annoyance of the barca fans. Big hand to the Barca fans by the way they welcomed Belletti. The defence was immense tonight especially Cech. Ivanovic got taken to the cleaners a few times by Henry and I wouldn't be that sure of him at FB. Malouda, although it probably didn't appear that way on TV, worked really hard and helped out Bossy. Difficult job for Drogs but single handily he caused their defence loads of headaches. You could see the panic in their defenders and hear it in the crowd each time the ball came to him. On Barca players. Messi was well marked and misplaced loads of passes. I think Barca have got the better Toure. Iniesta is an all round class act. Xavi is a fine player but a nasty cheating c**t. Alves is just a total c**t. Ref, in my opinion done a good job and held strong while under immense pressure.
  11. Clubhappy, check out the flights from Belfast with Ryanair. From Belfast City to stansted departure 30th and return 1st £82. Aer lingus from Belfast Inter to Heathrow £106 from30th to 1st. Easyjet fly to Gatwich but they seem to be more expensive at the moment.
  12. In one way I agree with Alex keeping his place but I think against the arsenal attack I'd have prefered an on form, fit Carvalho.

  14. Thanks Azz and Tim. Im staying close to the Ramblas so a bar there could be an option but I think I'll give the ticket a go first. Cheers Goose.
  15. As luck would have it, a few months ago Mrs Goose booked us a few days in Barcelona and the dates happen to fall on the semi final. I'd imagine that tickets would be also impossible to get hold off unless I was willing to pay a tout a shed load of money. So probably my best bet would be to find a good safe pub where there would be plenty of other Chelsea support. Anyone who has been to Barca before have any ideas. Cheers Goose.
  16. A really awful first half performance and I can't see how we could turn it around in the second. We need a leader out there and unfortunity our omly one is watching from the stands.
  17. About 60-70% possession but I think we'll find it difficult to score. I'm going for 1-0 with Nico to score.

  19. same story in the Starr
  20. Thanks for the best wishes everyone. Chippy the 50 may be the new 40 but today does not feel like it. 50 feels like sh*te or maybe it's because I'm nursing one brutal hangover. I wish more age give more sense.
  21. Dr Feelgood - She Does It Right Baffles me how Wilko Johnson plays guitar like that.
  22. Good luck Loz, I hope you win. Must warn you though my record is really crap at this.

  24. Anyone any idea how easy it will be to get tickets. I haven't got the flights booked yet and wouldn't bother unless there was a good chance of getting one. I'd imagine they will be hard to get if it's against the arse.
