  1. JC looked in a lot of pain there. hope it's not to serious. He's had a bad run of injuries of late.
  2. Another free header from a corner, What the f**k Scolari. Back to basics, PLEASE
  3. A shout for a pen there. I think our second tonight
  4. Just at half time it looked like Scolari was talking back to the subs. Maybe we're going to make a defensive change and play for pentles.
  5. we're lucky not to be 2 down. good save cech
  6. Bosinga keeps crossing in from bout 30 yds out and it's easy to defend. At least try to get to the by line you muppet.
  7. We've started tip tapping down the middle again and it's noy working. easily cut out
  8. Why is Anelka coming out so deep. Get in where it f**king hurts.
  9. Lively start. even Ballack looks interested. An early goal would be good.
  10. I think it has been fairly obvious that this has been our problem for some months now. At the start of the season our fullbacks were getting to the by-line but teams have sussed us and have stopped us going there forceing us to play down the middle which is very difficult to do as we generally come up against packed defences. We don't have a natural pacey wide man and although when malouda plays it does give us more of an option he is also being forced to come inside alot. Yesterdays game showed that the ball played in with pace from wide positions is the most difficult to defend having the 3 goals against coming from there.
  11. Bale had a complete daymare against Wigan yesterday.
  12. His second half display yesterday I thought at times embarrassing. He seem to lack fittness, sharpness and passion. Doesn't really look as if he wants to be here and is a shadow of the player he was 2/3 seasons ago.
  13. The only match were the last 10 mins has affected us was against Fulham when they got the late equaliser. In fact during the season we have only scored 1 goal in the last ten mins and that was deco's in the 4-0 win against Portmouth in the first match of the season. Although Arse have won their last two games in the last ten mins earlier on in the season they conceded late twice against Spurs and Villa for Draws. As you say the scums record is impressive. They have only been hurt once by a spurs equaliser but have twice scored two in the last 10 to convert losses into wins against M/boro and Wigan while getting late draws against Sunderland and City. No late goals to hurt Manure and only 2 late goals for recent victories against lowly Stoke and Sunderland.
  14. Backbitter the table after 80 mins would look something like this. Pl pts Chelsea 20 44 Arse 21 38 Liverpool 21 37 Manure 18 34 Pity a games over 90 mins.
  15. Maybe he has and he's going to break through in the next year or so although I very much doubt it. Can't really blame Arnesen for not uncovering a Messi. Players of such talent only come arround every decade or so. In the pass 50 years I think there are 2 tiers of world greats. Tier 1 Football Genius. Maradona, Pele, Best, Cruyff ? and I think Messi. Tier 2 Football Greats. Zidane, Platini, Beckenbauer, Ronaldo (Brazil), Gullit, van Basten etc.
