Agree that midfield battle is key, but for me arse midfield is too lightweight and we'll out muscle them.

I think our goals against record, (considering we're playing with two attacking full backs and a centre pairing forever changing), is largely down to Mikel.

Point 1. Beginning to change my thoughts on Scolari, but it is not his team and I think we have to wait until next season to see what unfolds. However he is beginning to worry me as being a bit one dimensional. Must say I do love watching attacking fullbacks. Point 2. I think one of the best finishers in the game and only behind Torres and perhaps Berbatov. I know this shouldn't really count but I think he's a decent bloke. Point 3. Kalou, I don't think will ever be good enough and malouda is just average. JC we know is quality and hopefully the real JC will soon return. Point 4. Not the player he was; at the moment, but he's our captain and his leadership qualities are still necessary. Point 5. Our injury list may be poor but I think we've coped with worst this past two seasons so not an excuse. I think the league is as strong but like the scum we're lucky to be were we are. Arse are not the same team they were when the likes of Henry, Pires, Vierra,Beauchamp and Lundberg were in the team. Manure are as strong as ever and if we finish above them we'll win the league.

Evissy, I’m not on a witch hunt for either player but I think at the moment they are not worth there place on the team. I’m very happy with our current league position; scoring bucketloads of goals and conceding few (which is remarkable considering our attacking fullbacks). However I’m very disappointed particularly with Malouda who came here with a bit of a reputation as a good wide player and good crosser of the ball. Sorry but I don’t see it. When the like of Robben got the ball he brought you to the edge of your seat and frightened the crap out of defenders. Malouda wouldn’t look dangerous wearing a balaclava with a shotgun up his jersey. How often do you see him take on a player, get to the bye-line and deliver a good cross. He may have some assists but considering the amount of procession we have and the number of goals we’ve scored his contribution is only fair. I just keep finding myself, when watching the match and Malouda gets the ball I don’t often say ‘well played ‘ or ‘good ball’, it’s usually ‘for f**ks sake’. Of course I’m only watching or TV so maybe someone who regulary watches him live can paint a better picture of maybe how he makes fantasic runs, drawing defenders and creating space for others and how he constantly tracks back helping out the defence. A players worth can certainly be better assessed watching live. When A Cole makes an overlapping run down the left and plays the ball inside to Lamps he generally gets it back; plays it to Malouda and he generally doesn’t. Another problem I have with him is his short passing; he gives a lot of hospital balls. Other players in the prem who I think would be better are Bentley, Walcott and I particularly like Young. That of course is leaving aside the 2 R's.

Robinho was snatched from us on the last minute of the closing day of the transfere window when it looked certain he was destined for us. We even had his squad number on our shirts FFS. Wasn't really much time for Scolari to implement a Plan B it he had one. We'll not really know Scolaris intensions unto the new transfere window opens in the new year and I can't see much action on transferes till next summer,

I think he'll start with Drogba and give him as much playing time as poss while he is suspended. We should overcome Bordeaux easily by a couple of clear goals with Drogba and lamps on the scoresheet.

I tend to be in agreement abramovich. Sinclair has promised a lot this past couple of seasons and I feel if he was good enough he would surely have dislodged Malouda. I know he maybe hasn't got a decent run in the team was us to make a good assesment but the management are seeing him day and daily and you wouldn;t think he'd have to show a whole lot to break into the team.

Can't believe that I'm voting for Malouda to be in the team before anyone but I think he may add a little more than Kalou at the moment. Neither two are Chelsea first team material.

I think it's a bit more serious than that. He appeared to graze the fingers of his right hand on impact and may well have broke a nail.

My thinking is like a lot of the others in that he's a good enough player who would only strenghten the squad but not add anything that wonderful to the team. At 27 he's not going to improve a whole lot and would omly push some of the youngsters further down the line. Any signing we are to make in future I think should be no older than 23. If you look at our squad over the past few years it's getting progressively older and I'd guess maybe the oldest squad of the big 4.

I think they will be very defensive with their main aim to pack the mid field and stopping our full backs attacking. They will then rely on breaks and no matter how well we play they are going to get a few chances. I really hope Torres isn't playing because if there's one of their players who I'd have straight into our team it's him. Although it's hard on belletti I feel Deco should start as he's our best chance of createing an opening in a packed mid-field. I really hope Anelka is on his game as this is a big chance for him to shine against a nervous back 4 who can't play a good off side game.
