Look on whisky as medication, Scott.

Nothing on the Official Site. Should I be surprised?

RIP Matthew

Do you think Roman even knows who Matthew was?

i dont think this is the thread to be asking that scott. RIP Matthew Harding, thanks for everything.

Judging by the JCL groups sitting around me in the MHL last night it was very clear many of them didn't have a clue who Matthew was. The crowd was a disgrace in not joining in the attempts to chant in his memory.

Sorry we let you down Matthew, maybe we can make up for it on Sunday when the regulars come back to their seats.

legend, totally devoted to our club. a genuine shame (in fact more than that) that his place in chelsea history seems to have been airbrushed out.

was there a minute's silence, geezer?

12 Years ? , well that went quickly . A true football man and completely committed to Chelsea FC. I get the impression that the club have moved on and are not really bothered about the mans memory, hope im wrong , we'll wait and see.

If someone had asked me I'd have said 8/9 years max.

I know the club seem reluctant to acknowledge the great man but at least the stand

bearing his name will be a testament to him forever and that cannot be taken away.

Another good reason to resist any ground move because I guarantee a new stadium will not have a Matthew Harding stand.

The club is always looking for cheap brownie points harping on how it is now looking after old players, strange how a few well chosen words seem so hard for man who gave his club his all. Not a single word on the official site, pitiful.

Thoughts are with your family MH; we will always be indebted to your generosity.

I hate to be the pessimist, but I can picture it being renamed something like the Roman Abramovich stand in about 10-20 years time. <_<

Didn't mean any disrespect to Matthew Harding with that, mind you. May he rest in peace.
