Playing well, but lacking in front of goal. Chelsea 68% procession with only 6 shots against Villa 32 for 4. Still we are playing well but think maybe Brojan needed for focal point and drop Palmer back.

Petrovic definitely for me. I can relax a lot more when the ball is played back to him. Seems to be able to play well weighted passes and more importantly know when to put his laces through it. Big few weeks coming up for him against better opposition but I think he will come through it well.

Don’t really know what the best answer is, whether we stay or move and what the overall financial contribution to the revenues would be. However it is essential that Chelsea update and remain relevant in World football. If we stand still in our ground and image we will get left behind.

I think that would be without question. No matter what people think of his skill levels, his commitment to the club and team is never in doubt. If he decides not to sign a new contract and move on, this should be seen as having to do what’s best for himself and not a slight against the club.

You are entitled to your opinion and if that’s the way you saw it. I think playing crap was a bit strong. Certainly I’d have liked to have seen a bit more intensity and a bit more exciting goalmouth action but a 6-1 win is a good performance any day of the week and we are in a final.

In fairness we are looking fairly comfortable on the ball. Stroking the ball along the back line nicely and some really good walking.

Problem with ourselves is that we don’t really know where the goals are going to come from. Palmer is are main threat and if he has another off day like 1st round, who knows.

Not going to get into the whole height debate, I actually like him and think he’s a decent player. That clip maybe shows the good and the bad. Started off with an awful pass to the opposition which could have ended in a goal only to recover the ball and play a really good through ball. Could easily have been Zero but ended up Hero.
