Would be pretty unlucky for Pulisic though, Sancho was the one who ousted him from the starting XI at Dortmund. If it was to happen at Chelsea as well then thats a bit harsh, especially when he hasn't even been given a proper chance yet. Fair enough! Sancho would be a dream signing if you ask me. CHO and Sancho on the opposite wings and Pulisic as first choice backup seems ideal! I do doubt he'll go to Utd, but I can still see him going to City. I mean look at Pogba for example, he left Utd just to go back there as he calls it "home" But then again, Sancho is an actual Chelsea fan so for him to come here would be so good, I really hope it happens. Imagine the english spine would possibly have as our starting XI within the next year: Tammy, Mount, RJ, RLC, CHO, Tomori and possibly Sancho, Chilwell and maybe Maddison too. and thats our starting XI, let alone the youth players we have coming through that are on the bench.

I think Emerson has done a more than fine job when he has played for us at the end of last season and at the beginning of this season. LB options of Emerson/Chilwell and sell Alonso to Athletico for 30-40m and that works out great for us.

De Ligt just signed for Juventus, he won't be changing teams up that quickly. Sancho may be possible, but there's a whole host of clubs going after him so no idea whats happening really and still too early to tell Emerson has been more than fine. I would rather us sell Alonso (there were rumours of him possibly being Athletico bound?) and not to mention Emerson is being targeted by Juve as well, in which case I would be happy to get Chillwell. Its just the price being said for chilwell, is far too high. 70m is ridiculous. If its under 45m then it'll be decent, but only if we end up selling one of our other 2 LB's.

Yeah fair enough. It was based on the the fact that people were saying hes a 200m signing, in which case that was the value I assumed he was. What I actually think would be worth to pay him is something like 50m + Bats/Willian as he's said to be worth 90m on the market

Zouma over Rudiger....? No chance for me. They're probably at a fairly similar level when they're both at their very best (Rudi still edges it for me) but Zouma is rarely at his best and makes a lot of mistakes

Becoming more and more clear that CHO needs to be starting every game for us now. As soon as he came on he was a menace on the pitch! Also Kante needs more time to heal, and I have no problem with Kovacic filling that role until Kante is fresh and ready. Just as long as we don't rely on Barkley...

Definitely. Up until that point most people were clamming on (including myself) about Christensen was by far the best defender we had at the time, it was all looking really good for him up until that mistake against Barca. Ever since then it seems to have taken a mental toll on him as he just kept making silly mistakes again and again. Its not so crazy to think that a mistake like that could massively affect a younger player who doesnt have too much first team experience. Luckily for Tomori we still won the game and got 3 points, but if it so happened that Lille had scored both those chances and made it 3-2, no doubt it would have affected Tomori.

Tomori been fantastic, but those 2 mistakes at the nend were poor. Hopefully doesnt affect him mentally like it did Christensen against Barca and derailed his career

Half time thoughts: Zouma and Willian are f**king crap. Please get them out of this club as soon as possible. They have both had plenty of chances and ll they're doing is costing us games over and over again. Reece James has been okay, but nothing special. Started very slow but was getting back into it the end of the half. Alonso been average, but really wish to see Emerson again Kante shouldn't have started, hes been very sloppy - Cant really blame him though, hes still basically injured Tammy - Quality finish yet again, really looking like hes solved our number 9 problems without having spent a penny
