Official Thomas Tuchel *Now Sacked*
In fairness we tried to play offensively against City the next season and got smashed 6-0, so he wasn't wrong. One of the things I like most about Tuchel's reign is that we've been able to take on the best teams in Europe successfully without having to park the bus

We tend to become complacent in the next transfer window after we win a trophy. 2012, 2015, 2017 were all very poor windows for us. Even this season we might've signed Lukaku but our net spend is virtually zero if I'm not mistaken

I think we overperformed at the start of the season tbh, it was unlikely that we could crack a 90 point season in Tuchel's second year, we'll probably finish around the mid 80s

I don't think we ever really had a chance of winning it this year, there was a massive gap between Liverpool/City and the rest of the league prior to this season and we've somewhat been able to close it, which is progress. Other than Lukaku (who's been injured) our squad isn't any stronger than last years, if anything switching Gilmour for Saul has arguably made it weaker

Saul Niguez
He actually manages to make Bakayoko look good in comparison.

Welcome To Chelsea Thiago Silva *Official*
A shoe in for Chelsea player of the season at this rate. Arguably should have won it last year as well. Incredible player

Romelu Lukaku back to Chelsea - and gone again!
I think the Serie A being a slower league meant his touch wasn't exposed as much, which is why he flourished there, similar to how Bakayoko plays a lot better in that league. He honestly doesn't look like he's improved much at all from his United days otherwise. We should've just saved the money and went all out for Haaland next year (or even an old Lewandowski)

Super Frank Lampard
Organising a defence is hardly his specialty either (arguably the opposite). He should be able to develop their younger players though and his name should pull players in January, so he does have a chance. I hope they stick with him even if they go down
-
Billy Gilmour
Farke was probably the manager most likely to play Gilmour given his playing style, chances are with a new manager they'll be even more defensive and he won't get a sniff, hopefully we can recall him though

Chelsea v Burnley (PL) Sat 6th Nov 2021 15:00 GMT
We were better before Pulisic came on, he's so overrated
-
Trevoh Chalobah
I wonder how Ampadu's doing as well, he got loaned to some Serie A team but haven't heard much from him since
-
Billy Gilmour
Tuchel seemed to imply that this loan was Gilmour's decision which if it was, it's turned out to be a bad one. He doesn't have the physicality for a relegation fight whereas he would have still got a decent amount of game time here. Problem is now with RLCs form he's dropped down the pecking order even if he did come back

Romelu Lukaku back to Chelsea - and gone again!
How much is Lukaku earning? I'm pretty sure it's one of the highest at the club

Romelu Lukaku back to Chelsea - and gone again!
Maybe we should've just paid the extra 50 or so million for Haaland, a better player with way more room for improvement.

We lost one game

Callum Hudson-Odoi
Just because he earns high wages doesn't mean he can't go out on loan. And his loan to Dortmund got blocked by Tuchel, that's hardly his fault
-
Callum Hudson-Odoi
No idea why Tuchel blocked his loan to Dortmund, he would have flourished there. He's our 3rd choice RWB and our 5th choice winger, we're ruining his potential at this rate.

Think this game was a case of 'don't fix what isn't broken'. We looked much better once we switched to a 3-4-3 and I think we should just stick to that system from now on, at least against the best sides.
-
Billy Gilmour
Really struggling at Norwich from what I'm hearing. He doesn't have the physicality for a relegation fight. This loan is looking like a mistake
-
Callum Hudson-Odoi
Think we should have loaned him out, he's not a rwb, and Dortmund would have helped his development massively

What a hero, switching to a 3 man midfield 2nd half was genius

Jorginho is.... (well now was) a Blue
Great game. Worried he might get ran into the ground now Gilmour's gone though
-
Trevoh Chalobah
Do we even need Kounde?
-
Jorginho is.... (well now was) a Blue
He wasn't the best player for Real Madrid, Ronaldo was by far. He got robbed that year. If anything Modric winning it that year is the strongest argument for Jorginho deserving it this year

What's the new loan rule? I actually think the loan army strategy works really well for us (apart from selling the players that come good like KDB/Salah)
