We definietely were just as pedestrian under Lamps, you're right about Conte though, the board really should have backed him

Why are we playing so scared against Everton? They're basically relegation candidates

RLC and Pulisic I hope Tuchel knows what he's doing

Why do we always do this when we're in the lead ffs

Chalobah on for Azpi would help deal with Everton's long balls, maybe give Cucurella a run out if he's fit as well

Better than Thiago Silva, Rudiger, Kante and Mendy?

Was City's top scorer over the last five years if I remember correctly, he's hardly priveliged. Not to mention he dragged England to the Euro 2020 final. Feel like he's crminally underrated by most football fans, though that could be a good thing as it's allowed us to bag him for such a cheap price

Too many games he does this, yet somehow managed to win player of the season twice in a row

Sterling's going to quickly become a fan favourite if he plays like this every game

Yeah line up looks strong but would prefer Chalobah start over Azpillicueta
-
César 'Dave' Azpilicueta
Feels like this deal was more about hurting Barca than it was about what's best for the club, if the wages are true then this doesn't make sense to be honest
-
Ethan Ampadu
Surpised by this, he looks decent for 21, would prefer a loan move for him if we aren't going to use him as cover
-
Wesley Fofana at Chelsea *Official*
Why are we so keen to sign a player who broke his leg? There's no gurantee he'll be the same player. Look at Kurt Zouma and Hudson Odoi after they had massive injuries
-
It’s a bit grim isn’t it?
He was very unlucky not to score 2 goals that game, let's be honest he's going to score a bucketload for City this season
-
It’s a bit grim isn’t it?
The thing is the signings we have made (Sterling and Koulibaly) have been really good, it's just the fact that we've missed out on targets and are still saddled with too many mediocre deadwood players from the Marina era that's making things look so bad. If we can get either Fofana or Gvardiol in this would still be a good window
-
Predictions for the season
At this current rate (provided we don't sign anyone new) 1.City 2.Liverpool 3.Spurs (possibly 2nd if Liverpool pick up a few injuries) 4.United 5.Chelsea 6.Arsenal 7.Newcastle 8.Leicester 9.West Ham 10. Wolves 17.Fulham 18.Everton 19.Bournemouth 20.Leeds

Cristiano Ronaldo SIUUUUUUUUUUU
Who needs Ronaldo when we have such an elite attack already? /s
-
Timo Werner
Personally I don't think he's great but Pulisic and Ziyech are worse, at least Werner actually runs and can drag defenders out of position (and he had a very decent amount of goal contributions in 2020/21). I'd rather we sold those two first. Not to mention Werner can cover as ST if Broja leaves. If Werner and Broja leave Kai Havertz would be our only ST

Official Thomas Tuchel *Now Sacked*
What's wrong with Trev as a RCB? He's pretty good for a 23 year old and is only going to get better. We have Sarr Colwill and Ampadu as back up CB's as well, even Reece can play RCB if needed. I really don't see the point splashing 60m on someone like Kounde who sees us as a 2nd choice. We should sign another attacker or a CM if anything
-
Kai Havertz
To be honest I'm not sure even Havertz deserves much of a pass. If we're treating him as a number 9 now it means we've paid £71m for a number 9 that can't even crack 10 goals a season in the prem. I think he has can improve but right now he isn't anywhere near the other top forwards in the league
-
Kai Havertz
You've just listed why all our attackers our awful, the fact that Tuchel got 76 goals out of them is fairly impressive if anything. Even our best attacker Mason Mount, is about as good as 2014-15 Oscar at best (even last season most of his goal contributions were agains the bottom 5). Truth is we still haven't found a replacement for Hazard and Diego Costa. Sterling might be a step in the right direction, but it isn't enough

Think the Spanish FA are in on it. Barca and Real are the only things making their sh*t league relevant.
-
Jules Kounde
Think this is really poor from us if true. Dave's a club legend and clearly surplus to requirements here we should treat him with the respect he deserves
