Wesley Fofana at Chelsea *Official*
They're trolling hard!!
-
Callum Hudson-Odoi
He's 21 and you already know that? Ridiculous statement IMO.
-
Milan Skriniar
I think we're being used in the media to drive up the price to PSG. They know we need a CB and they know that we have money. But chances are he's going to PSG if he goes anywhere and we probably won't even put an offer in for him.

Callum Hudson-Odoi
So was that his mistake or our mistake? If your employer offered you better terms to stay, you’d more than likely accept. But his development is being shorted by Ziyech, Pulisic and Werner who have all been given more opportunities for runs in the team..without consistent success.

Callum Hudson-Odoi
Again, Mount first delivered on loan at a lower level then was given an opportunity with Chelsea. CHO should have been sent out on loan in my opinion. He’s also had two Achilles injuries. I see all of this Mount is a hard worker and such (which I believe to be true) but what’s to say CHO doesn’t work just as hard? It’s just funny how one gets a pass at times and the other doesn’t even given the circumstances. Mount doesn’t play well, he’s still in the team. CHO has a bad game and it’s back to the bench and that’s always been the case. Anyway, I hope that they’re both huge successes for the club. They deserve better from us.

Mount has been healthy and has been afforded the opportunity to get huge minutes whether on loan or back at Chelsea. We can't say the same for CHO but we wonder why he hasn't developed (and he's still 2 years younger than Mount).

Jules Kounde
Exactly, a good team adds good players. A great team adds top players, they add at the top which forces the others to step up.

Lewandowski
I'm honestly surprised that so many top players still want to go to Barcelona. History yes, but they have mortgaged the club just to sign players. They've been run worse than a football manager team to the point that it cost them Messi. They're consistently overpaying players and then asking players to take pay cuts. They're trying to push players out the door just to try and balance the books somewhat. It doesn't seem like a solid foundation that I'd be excited to go to but it is what it is.

Matthijs de Ligt: Chelsea interested in Juventus defender
Silva probably speaks Italian from his time at AC Milan so I don't think language barrier would be an issue. Not sure of Silva's English but De Ligt's is fine.

Neymar
I think that he's the type of forward that TT wants to lead the line. He doesn't want a target man, he wants someone who can play intricate football up top. Lukaku and his feet of steel definitely wasn't a good fit. Neither is Werner and his loose touch. I wouldn't pay over 30m for him and his wages would absolutely have to fall in line, otherwise, keep it moving.

Matthijs de Ligt: Chelsea interested in Juventus defender
He is one of the signings that we absolutely need. Young, experienced, strong DC who has experience playing in a back 3 (although I'm hoping that we go to 4 in the back). Milan Skriniar and Kalidou Koulibaly are both high on my list as well.

Declan Rice to Chelsea?
I qualified his age as to say 80m for a 22 year old rather than 97.5m for a 28, 29 year old. 80m for a class 22 year old is not bad business assuming that grow into the player you think they will be.
-
Declan Rice to Chelsea?
Bellingham or Phillips?
-
Declan Rice to Chelsea?
Yes and almost twice the cost..you missed that part.
-
Declan Rice to Chelsea?
Tchouameni is only 22 years old so you're paying 80m for a player that you should have for the next decade plus or pay twice that for a player who's English (albeit proven in the Premier League)?
-
Declan Rice to Chelsea?
Real play with a 4-3-3 with Modric, Kroos and Casemiro in the middle. Now they have some of their future replacements with Tchouameni and Camavinga in place. They probably won't miss a beat when they decide to send Kroos and Casemiro out to pasture. I don't list Modric because that guy is phenomenal and doesn't appear to age. Both Tchouameni and Camavinga are already national team players and will no doubt only get better especially learning from the aforementioned three. Why aren't we interested in Bellingham?

Ousmane Dembele
There's definitely some truth to that. It's the reason why we play 3 in the back in my opinion. I'm sure he saw loads of film of the Chelsea teams under Lampard and realized he needed to plug some holes in the back. Now Chilly and Reece have been revelations at wing back but think of how more creative and potent our team would be if we had our top 4 or our top 6 (depending on formation) creating instead of 2 of our back 5 (Reece and Chilly).

Christopher Nkunku to Chelsea
If Nkunku signs an extension and then Nunez goes to Liverpool...does that mean that Lukaku stays? Is Broja ready to lead the line? I'm not really impressed with Havertz as a 9...I prefer him playing in behind the striker.
-
Gabriel Jesus
I don't know about that proven goal scorer statement.
-
Aurelian Tchouameni
It seems like we work on transfers serially...like we're unable to negotiate more than one transfer at a time and it's FRUSTRATING. We should have had Tchouameni a year ago for 20-30M less than Real just paid for him. I would spend that money on Bellingham though to get younger in our engine room.
-
Christopher Nkunku to Chelsea
Christopher Nkunku or Darwin Nunez?
-
Ousmane Dembele
He's not a striker, more of a winger who creates more than he scores.
-
Paul Pogba
He's off to the Juventus or Madrid so I don't think it even matters.
-
Aurelian Tchouameni
I'd prefer Bellingham. He's young, English and appears to have loads of potential.
-
Aurelian Tchouameni
I'd argue that Drinkwater played more advanced in the Leicester team but both teams essentially played a double pivot but this conversation isn't going anywhere.
