One year left on his Inter contract, no developments in his much linked move to PSG. 

Perhaps the new coach in Paris is happy with what he has got. 

Top quality player and a leader. I believe we should find out Inters price and confirm, without a single doubt, he would come here and if he would make a move for him. 

Think he’s probably better than Kounde.

I have no idea why we have not been in for him. 

We just like to bid on players who have their heart set on moves elsewhere, or dilly and dally until a good player has other interests when we could of got them at an opportune moment.

Lets hope this weird transfer window of missing out on key targets is only due to the recent takeover, and lack of experienced personnel in positions to pursue our targets which will be rectified this time next year.

The lack of experienced personnel should be laid squarely on Tbo s shoulders. It's galling that we are still waiting for Sevilla's green light when there are other players out there we can get. Read we are trying to hijack Mukiele's move to PSG. This guy had been out there all along but it was when he is readyto sign for PSG, we suddenly realized we are interested after all. The failure of this transfer window is 100% Tbo s fault.

I can only think that the scouting department have already been sacked as they appear to be doing absolutely f**k all at the moment ... it would probably be no more than they deserve mind you ...

He would be a good choice I think. PSG seem focused on Mukiele so perhaps we would have a chance to get him. However haven't seen any substantive rumours that we have taken a serious issue to date.

genuinely, my 8 year old boy would do a better job having played fifa for an hour or 2.

Skriniar and Koulibaly would be a fantastic pairing. 

Probably agree a fee with Inter and then get hijacked by psg, although maybe Mukiele rules them out.

Not sure if that is the right mindset.

Because then we should try to get Johnny Evans, Ben Mee, Phil Jones, Kongolo,... Even Harry Maguire. 

As they are likely all better.

The simple question: is the player we are targeting will improve the first team and can we get them at a decent price. We are not trying to sign Evans, Mee, etc.

I think we're being used in the media to drive up the price to PSG.  They know we need a CB and they know that we have money.  But chances are he's going to PSG if he goes anywhere and we probably won't even put an offer in for him.
