  1. I'm sure as hell going to miss him if he does leave (99% sure he will). An absolute legend, one of (if not the) greatest strikers ever to grace the Premier League.
  2. At my mate Joe's house, the only Chelsea fan out of 7 of us but was joined by my housemate Richard who put a fiver on us to win it back when we beat Napoli 4-1 and promptly won £55 as a result! Went absolutely mental and collapsed to the floor when Drogba scored - don't think his housemate upstairs was too pleased with me!
  3. Drogba scoring the header with Martin Tyler and Gary Neville commentating is immortalised in my brain forever. His commentary for Aguero's winner of the league for Man City was pretty special, tonight's "DROGBAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" was another level, Neville's (more manly than v Barca) "OOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHH!" is absolutely glorious. Tyler's "HE'S DONE IT!" when Drogs scored the winning penalty isn't bad either! What a night. http://www.skysports...7766690,00.html
  4. I don't think his move compares to Cahill - fighting relegation in December, European Champion in May.
  5. This was posted at 10:18, before the shootout started, in response to someone asking "When was the last time an English side beat a German side on penalties? Ducavis, you are my new hero. I cannot put what I feel like right now into words. I'm utterly speechless that Chelsea Football Club, the team I was born into because of my Dad, 19 years on are CHAMPIONS OF EUROPE. This is unbelievable. Drogba, Cech, Mikel, Cole all stepped up tonight, I'll never forget this night as long as I'll live. 19th of May, 2012, the year Chelsea Football Club won the Champions League on penalties against a German side who just don't miss penalties. Unreal. Highlights at 1am? Oh wow I can't wait to see them. Thank you, Chelsea FC. Thank you so much for this unbelievable night.
  6. Stomach has suddenly started doing backflips. I wasn't this nervous before the Barca 2nd leg, this is ridiculous, I almost feel ill.
  7. Going to a mate's house to watch it tonight, probably going to be the only Chelsea fan there. I hope they don't mind me screaming their house down for possibly 2 hours.
  8. There's a big egg chasing game later that's worth a look!
  9. The United fans who reacted "NOOOOOOOOOOO!" when Aguero scored were definitely fake, you wouldn't react like that, you'd either curse and curse and curse or, like me, just stop talking all together. Plastic reaction.
  10. Woke up to the news that the creator of my favourite TV show of all time (Community) has been sacked. Then my SkyGo wouldn't let me sign in. I'm a bundle of nerves, let's hope this bad luck doesn't continue, COME ON CHELSEA!
  11. Paul Merson on SSN a few days before the Barca 2nd leg, even with our 1-0 lead, he gave us a, quote, "1%" chance of making it through. Look how that turned out.
  12. I have an oral exam in a few hours, as soon as it's over, all my attention is transferring to Saturday. In the mean time, we should all give this a watch or 10, just to remind ourselves how we get there: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b5OaZxIO8LI
  13. I hadn't until now, amazing. Pub reactions are far better than the ones in the City/United video, half of them look so staged.
  14. Already started on Twitter, Mourinho is another name that Liverpool want (!)
  15. Hilarious seeing Downing make the squad, what has he actually does to warrant a call up? He didn't score all season, he didn't get any assists, what advantage could he possibly bring to the England squad? Gerrard captain as well, brilliant. Isn't England's record when he's been captain absolutely dire?
  16. In our house we now have specific places where not to stand during penalties, during the 2008 Final my Mum and Dad were stood behind the sofa and we subsequently lost, and since then that area is forbidden for all types of penalties ever.
  17. Never an option, ever. For the Final in 2008 I was doing something for my school and I specifically said that I would have to leave at 7:30 to go get home in time to watch it, even though the thing finished after 8. No matter how nervous someone is, not watching the game is never ever an option.
  18. Ramires has been more than just a very good team player, without Ramires we wouldn't be in the CL Final and was in the running to be our Player of the Year, winning Players' Player in the process. He's one of our most vital, best players.
  19. I'd feel much more confident on Saturday if we had two recognized centre backs playing! Come on Gary and David!
  20. Anyone have any pictures or video of our lap of honour yesterday? MOTD showed not even a second of it.
  21. Watched the City game while keeping an eye on Chels (awful streams all day for our game), cannot remember a more exhilarating end to a Premiership season!
