Also how is Modric tonight? He must be fuming. Could have been a European champion tonight. Instead he is looking down the barrel of another season in mediocrity.

Has anybody told Villa that they've got 50% less songs to sing next time they play us?

Mr Modric, how do you like it now?

Mr Wenger, even RDM won more trophies than you for the last 7 years, and he only took over the job for 2 months.

Are we in the group stage automatically next season, or do we need to go through the play offs in August?

I think it's a bit unfair on Modric icecoolguy. He would be there tonight if Spurs would have let him go.

I agree, slightly unfair. However if he really wanted, he could have forced the move. I remember reading somewhere even old Harry says there is nothing he can do to stop it if Modric forces a move. He missed the boat, doubt we will be bidding him again this summer. He could had a couple of medals with us, I'm sure he didn't like what he saw last night.

I think it's a bit unfair on Modric icecoolguy. He would be there tonight if Spurs would have let him go.

What more could he have done to force a move? He handed in a transfer request and repeatedly said that he wanted to join us. Only other thing he could have done was refuse to play, and I would never want a player who does that.

It's inevitable that we'll give spurs and arsenal loads and villa and the dippers deserve it but I hope we can retain a bit more class than those who've goaded us in the past. After all, we are better than them aren't we?

Better to focus on the we have won it rather than that others haven't imo.
