  1. +Well put, Qaz. And the results so far are two less trophies than we attained last year - clearly a massive step backward. Oh well, here's to hoping Man U start dropping points like L'Arse, and of course, they will need to continue their current trend. Then again, maybe we should all be more appreciative of runners-up medals?
  2. You're obviously not a real fan ethical. Only real fans revel in losing and accept whatever the club says as gospel.
  3. You feel the way you do because you formed an erotic attachment to Mourinho. Even your avatar is testament to that. Or maybe he formed an erotic attachment to winning - something Avi knows absolutely nothing about.
  4. So tired of this Jose worship - Avram has choices too!!! Red cones or yellow cones? Blue bibs or Green bibs? Just wait, you'll be sorry when one of the Euro giants taps him up and our sexy football goes out the door!
  5. Along with what player in their right mind would want to join after witnessing an entire team of internationals leave en masse? I guess I shouldn't be worried though as the forum regulars have assured me it's all just tabloid bollocks.
  6. Why on earth would we want to be benchmarking ourselves against Liverpool? Forget Liverpool, most of them are bench marking against Hollins record. You couldn't make it up. PS - Those underachieving inconsistent scouse twats (both sets) are only 2 points behind us now.
  7. Go on then, explain specifically the irony of my post, gullit. Like I said, the condescension and patronisation don't suit you. Keep it up though, you'll get it right eventually.
  8. Oh dear, lectured on sarcasm by a child. I'll tell you what gets annoying gullit, is people like yourself, thinking your opinion is the only one that matters. If I want to label the Grant supporters as Grantistas then I will do so without any guilt as the term fits. You try to condescend, but it really doesn't suit you. Feel free to have another go as I would like to believe you're more clever than that.
  9. No worries Abramovich. I would respond to all but I have to nip out for a quick meeting. Q: How many of those player's teams would have Avi as their manager? Answers on a postcard, please...
  10. I find it shocking that you suggest that you can win either by luck. It has something to do with him getting his nose lodged firmly in Roman's bum. The lucky bit is Roman likes it, because Avram isn't fit to manage Chelsea Ladies (no offence to the ladies team intended), much less the first team.
  11. That's right. And I should go home to Natalie Portman every night, but I don't (she just doesn't know what she's missing!). Just because you or I would gladly pull on the Chelsea shirt for a pittance doesn't mean the players will, or should. JT might, but given his recent contract negotiations I wonder. The players play because of ego, their love of the game or payslip, not love of a club. They want to be remembered as the next Zidane or Cantona and they know their chances of achieveing that are severely hindered when their team lacks direction and leadership. The players have a right to play for a team that's not being run like a banana republic. I agree with that. Especially the last bit But seriously, I agree we now have a prima donna complex emerging with some players. I do know one thing, under the previous regime any signs of that were quickly stamped out. I think they have a right to refuse to play for an imposter. He is not a manager by any stretch of the definition. If it were banking then he would be brought up on embezzlement charges. The man has no more business running a top club than you or I do. I don't think they have a right to score own goals or actively sabotage (your word) the team. Either way, the end result is all I care about, and that is getting this team back on the right track. That starts with getting shot of someone who should never have been in the club, as Director of Football or any other capacity, in the first place. When we get a real manager in, then he can decide if certain players attitudes were/are sh*te or give them a clean slate.
  12. Not upset with Chippy at all, now BLUENUT on the other hand...
  13. Chippy, please don't take offence - just wanted to address your points one by one... Sorry' date=' but Essien's form was acceptable until Jose was sacked. LOL After one game. But of course, it took the genious of Avi to resurrect our CL campaign otherwise Jose would have had us out in the group stage. Possibly by the third match of the groups stage. Yes, I'll agree with that. I believe we have a winner for understatement of the year award. I'm sorry mate' date=' but it can't always be the keeper's fault. Arsenal, Rottenham, Barnsley - if we just had a decent keeper then maybe Avi wouldn't be in the mess he's in now, eh? haha, has there ever been anythign else from Sheva since he's joined us? I mean really, this is the player who is outmuscled by Aaron Lennon and couldn't outrun a snail if his life depended on it. Not Sheva's fault he was placed in a position to fail so thoroughly yet again. That decision lies elswhere. And SWP? The boy who's second touch is always a tackle and who makes Gronks crosses look like laser guided missiles. Ahh yes, if it weren't for those two messing things up we would be right there. Again, I'm glad you are happy with what we have now. I'm surprised you didn't burst with excitement when we were on course for a quadruple last year well into April. To me, that means we're going backward as we should be challenging for all major trophies well into April every season. And for some strange reason I'm not happy going backward! If we want to go back to being lovable losers who occasionally win a cup here and there that's fine with me. If so, then let's dispense with Roman and his billions, sack the millionaire players and roll back the ticket prices to 1985. Only then will it be acceptable to have someone like Grant in charge.
  14. I find it shocking that anyone is even considering allowing him to stay should he be lucky enough to win the league or CL. Led by donkeys.
  15. I don't mean to be rude but this is just ridiculous. I hope you're joking. Not joking in the slightest. I believe you and the other Grantistas do not understand the depth of trouble we're in with Grant in charge. We are on the fast track back to pre-Ranieri days. We will win nothing and we will lose extremely talented players in the close season. Players who were committed to the cause when the club showed equal committment to them, hence the 6 trophies in 3 years. Players who just a few short months ago beat an in form Man U team to lift the FA Cup. Then again, if your only concern is playing pretty football and not upsetting Wenger, Platini, et al, then please continue to support your man.
  16. Dear me, CALM DOWN! I have it on good authority that not only the world's best players, but the world's best young players, will be queueing up to play for Avram. If they're not sufficiently impressed with Avram they'll surely want to play for Chelsea given they've always loved the club and could think of no other place to apply the skills they've worked countless hours to achieve. DON'T PANIC
  17. Brit, I'm afraid we're going to have to give you a verbal warning for your continued dissent this time. Please if you can sign the form and return it to me immediately. Kind regards, The True Chelsea Supporters
  18. Of course, they were... Sorry, but players have every right to want to play at the top level. That means with other players of equal skill level, and a manager who knows how to get the best from all of them. Are you saying these players don't have a right to want to play at a properly run club? And when the owner appoints his mate, who incidentally has no experience, as manager do you also think that means the club is serious about winning? Then again, most of you seem to believe that all players are Rio Ferdinand copies and will sell to the highest bidder. In the end, even Rio wanted to win something and agitated for a move to the mancs - a club with serious ambitions every year. (cue f**k off to Manchester replies) It's easy. Firstly, I could care less what he gets paid every week as most of it is currently being underwritten by Roman and I still pay my share every season. Secondly, he realises something is broken with our club (Drogba's exact words) and refuses to be part of furthering the the damage done. More importantly, he refuses to assist in helping a con man achieve the one thing he needs to continue his con. In this case, credibility in the form of silverware at the highest level. Whether he's doing this for altruistic reasons I could care less. Both Malouda and Essien (along with Drogs) are great players and I think it's much easier to replace the imposter at the helm rather than find players who will produce like the latter two have for our club already. So yes, three cheers for Malouda and Essien, without whom the club might have been dragged back to pre-Roman times.
  19. 100% spot on. More importantly, it was around the second week of September when he became injured and his form fell off the chart. I guess it probably had nothing to do with him realising an entire year of his short career was wasted as soon as they placed a muppet in charge of his team. Actually, calling him a muppet would be an insult to muppets everywhere, for that, I apologise.
  20. If thats what you seriously believe then you are the worst chelsea fan on the planet. That hurts BJD, really.
  21. Not at all Phillip. But if I were a surgeon's assistant and you, as director of the hospital, installed a street sweeper as head surgeon, then yes, I would have misgivings about your skill set. EDIT: and yes I would go on strike
  22. I take what you are saying but thats not my point. The point isnt about his form or quality. Its about his attitude and effort. Both of which stink. His attitiude and effort were fine before the club sank into the farce it has become now. In fact, players such as Malouda and Essien should be applauded for refusing to give their all to a man not deserving their respect and who would subsequently benefit from those efforts. They should be treated as heroes.
  23. Kin' spot on mate I Wanna nominate this for the CSR post of the season. Careful Star, the forum mafia will be after you for not backing the club and not being a true Chelsea supporter.
  24. Like I said Loz, I won't disagree with you again. You've made your point perfectly clear.
