Good read on Torres: http://www.weaintgotnohistory.com/2012/10/6/3462394/fernando-torres-chelsea-fc He certainly is not the Torres of old that tortured us, no matter how you see it. The question remains is he good enough as the player he as been this year to lead us to a title and can Sturridge supply any help at all himself? Is this tandem good enough vs the Gudjohnsen and Crespo's of the past even? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SEDDR9ubKKw- Favourite cup win of Abramovich era?
Seems like an open and shut case. Hard to argue against the winning of Europe vs anything.- Following our nearest and dearest rivals
The problem is we'll have City and United away. The key is to get the points off them at home first.- Us or United
They're underperforming right now though, and have failed to show up in most cup competitions the last two years. Is this a pattern or not? Definitely a deep team but despite more dramatics on away games they are not really turning a lot of heads yet. You'd expect them to wake up yet, but will they- Shakhtar Donetsk vs Chelsea (CL) 23/10/12 KO: 19:45 BST
Isn't this the beauty of our team and depth this year? That in order to rest players we should start Lamps and Terry. Wonderful!- Shakhtar Donetsk vs Chelsea (CL) 23/10/12 KO: 19:45 BST
Ya if Sturridge is going to play he has to be in for Torres and Moses should be in for the subbed Oscar then. Think Oscar will be better for this game though.- Following our nearest and dearest rivals
So much for Arsenal's easy schedule- Following our nearest and dearest rivals
2 that I recall, and if they hadn't they'd be 3-5-0, rather than 5-3-0. Neither is really that impressive yet- oh dear...ex-Chelsea employee talking sh*te re. Liverpool
This is really all it is. But what would we expect from a story off the scouser's own site.- David Luiz, Good enough?
The only thing is he is quite old to be fine-tuning his game, generally a player is pretty fixed in his ways at Luiz's age, but who knows. Here's hopin- Tottenham v Chelsea 20/10/12 KO 12:45 BST
f**k you- Tottenham v Chelsea 20/10/12 KO 12:45 BST
I fancy the odds of our front four vs their back four- Kevin De Bruyne

The duds?- Title Race- the biggest threat?
Man United can be pretty scary this year. With Kagawa and Van Persie I am more threatened by them. Man sh*tty are sure living up to the name, so far bad starts from a lot of players this year. Maybe the long title run from last year? Or they just have not clicked? I dunno, but they still have not lost a game, draws be damned, but they had that bad season a while ago where they screwed themselves from their draws.- A move from Stamford Bridge
I was just looking at some of this stuff today myself. Is it possible Earl's Court is out of the picture now with the redevelopment plan there more or less going ahead?- John Obi Mikel Appreciation Thread
I was thinking his situation was really relevant to Makelele, the club should give him a go at a pen in the right situation.- Falcao to Chelsea?
Problem is this is like four months away, another Hulk/Modric stream. Here we go...- Chelsea v Bayern Munich (CL Final) 19/05/12 KO 19:45 BST
no help huh?- Where is Marin?
Can't say I really agree. Moses is proven in the Prem, is just as apt defensively as he is offensively. The only thing Marin brings is he adds natural width as a pass first player but is pretty liable defensively. Each player will have roles to play in this team going forward.- Tottenham v Chelsea 20/10/12 KO 12:45 BST
The worst thing for us out of all of this is that we have a tough schedule immediately after this one, while Tottenham have Southampton and Wigan. Hardly tough challenges. That means the f**kers will be able to throw everything at us for this derby and can rest up after. I believe this could make things just an finger nails width more difficult for us. Regardless this is a team that we can and should beat. It is no easy test however. Is it the 20th yet?- Number of Chelsea fans?
Another establishment of Chelsea worldwide support is that now we have been pegged as the fourth highest in kit sales! This will have a positive effect on the television and advertising deals for the club. http://www.weaintgotnohistory.com/2012/10/8/3473984/chelsea-kit-sales-shirts- Chelsea v Bayern Munich (CL Final) 19/05/12 KO 19:45 BST
This is really embarrassing but can somebody identify the song our supporters are singing at the 91st minute of regular time before the extras?- Tottenham v Chelsea 20/10/12 KO 12:45 BST
This is still the same Tottenham that lost to Newcastle, and drew West Brom and NORWICH CITY at home. Beating Man U was the first decent and major scalp for them. It is up to Tottenham now to prove this run of four wins is actual substance and that the quality on their squad is legitimate. The need this to prove that they are not paper tigers. True it will be tough as it is a derby, but they surely have not put a stamp on this season yet. - Torres - The "Groundhog Day" Thread
