  1. This ref is allowing a lot of harsh tackles. Sheesh.
  2. I'm not sure if the tackle was a penalty or not. I only got to see it on the highlights once. However, that shirt pull by Koscielny was a clear cut pen for me. You could see that shirt pull from a mile away and it drug the Norwich player (name escapes me) down!
  3. RIP MCA. The Beastie Boys made some great music to listen to. Back in the early 90's they were easily one of my favourite groups.
  4. We still have two trophies we're playing for. If we win on the 5th and the 19th, this will be long forgotten. I have faith in RDM. He's done us well to this point, I believe you'll see a different Chelsea come Saturday and on the 19th. Tonight was the dagger for our league position, but it's been a long time coming. Really it comes down to the 19th. Beat Bayern, and we're not only back in the CL but we've just secured the one trophy RA has been looking for since he became our owner. Anyone notice that coat RA was wearing? Yes, the 5th and the 19th are where it's at and I believe RDM will have us ready for both. Well done to Newcastle and brilliant strikes by Cisse.
  5. I would assume 4-2-3-1 but reading the lineup it looks like a 4-3-3 with Malouda on the left and Studge on the right. Not sure...
  6. Like seeing Bertrand get more time. This will give Cole a rest and get him ready for the Liverpool final. I like the lineup. I hope Malouda does well for us tonight. He's the biggest question mark in that lineup. COYB!
  7. 5 min of stoppage time. Nasri with 14 touches too many. Heh.

I'd be in the kitchen as well... Double-fisting whatever alcoholic beverages I could snag from the fridge.
  9. Get him Mancini, tell SAF where to stick it!
  10. Last one standing without a loss... Woohoo! I need to quit with these draws though. And my goal differential is abysmal.
  11. My wife says it's an excellent read and recommends the entire series.
  12. Nope. Some of you might just be out to take my money. I can't be having that.
  13. I think that's fair. My wife said that they were pretty spot on about getting the story right (just some minor things here and there that were inaccurate). There were some areas that weren't as detailed as she thought they should have been. I don't want to get into details though in case others are going to see it. I would definitely say that sequel(s) will be coming...
  14. I just saw The Hunger Games with my wife last night. She read the book, and still thought it was pretty decent. Obviously there were some things missed, but it was a pretty good adaptation. I, not having read the book, thought it was very good. I was surprised because I didn't have many expectations. It's not one of the greatest films I've ever seen, but it's pretty darn good and worth the price of admission.
  15. No one wants to see that. And I do mean no one.
  16. Spuds up 2-0 now. That's going to be a win for them.
  17. Didn't get to see it even though it was on the telly. Had to get some stuff packed up. Anyway, love the scoreline. A little gutted we couldn't keep a clean sheet. Oh well, I guess a 6-1 drubbing of QPHa will do. I have the match recorded, I'll need to watch it here in a bit.
  18. The more I think about this, the more I believe this will most certainly be our hardest match of the year even eclipsing the Barca ties. We're going to play a rested team, in their home stadium. We're going to also play a team that didn't get much of a chance to beat RM (it wasn't as bad as us but they were certainly underdogs). They are going to be hungry to win it just like we are. We're going to need it all for this one. Even with their suspensions, they will be dangerous. Bayern has no problems with finishing especially with Gomez at the tip. I have faith the lads will do it though. We'll do some heroic defending and hit them on the counter. Same game plan that we deployed against Barca but we'll have some chances to attack. Bayern 1 - 2 Chelsea

I like this signing, I like it a whole lot. Marin does have a tendency to not track back at times, but he's still really good and I believe tracking back can be taught to him. He fell off the map a bit because of Özil and Götze, but for the price this is going to turn out to be a steal imho. Welcome Marko!
  20. Definitely looks like this is going to penalties.
  21. You almost got your wish there. Well timed challenge by Lahm.
  22. That's 3 out for Bayern. ET half one over.
