It's a wonder that people can get away with that type of journalism. I think I went down the wrong career path...

If he wanted to go to the Spuds and demand a high salary, I say let him go. We don't need to be overpaying for players especially if they would rather go elsewhere. Would he be a great squad player and a fill-in type? Absolutely. Would he be that for what he's demanding? No.

I think the 0-0 draw is the best result we could have hoped for. We're in fourth, let's keep the momentum going and hope we get more wins!

For me, it's not that I want to bench the whole team and put youngsters in because I think the season is over. I just want to see some of the youngsters get a fair shake even if it's as a sub. If we have a front line of Malouda, Anelka, and Drogba, and we notice it's not doing well. Why is it always the same substitutions? It's usually Kalou for one of those three and maybe Sturridge gets a cameo at the 85th minute. Why not bring Sturridge on in the 60th minute and give him a good 30 min plus stoppage to showcase what he has? Or bring him in the 65th then bring Kalou in a few min afterwords. Something. Just give the lad a shot to show what he has without bringing him in too late in the game where he tries so hard to impress and makes silly mistakes. Especially if the match isn't playing out as we would have hoped. Josh would be the same deal. I would argue that he, due to his age, probably could be brought along more slowly. However, he has always taken full advantage of any playing time that he's had. So why not do the same for him?
