  1. Get well soon Bobby. A legend.
  2. But what if lightening strikes twice? I still can't believe we didn't win it with Hiddink because of the confidence/form/players/team spirit/performance x2 vs Barca. I wasn't alive during the 1994 FA Cup Final although I have heard people say too that it is up there in terms of 2009 of being an unforgettable game. If so, Im glad I didn't see it. I can watch Man Utd of 2008 because I still can't believe we went to a final but 2009, I can't. I will never ever ever live it down. That game showed me the kind of luck we get in these UEFA Fix of a tournament.

If we were able to take it down to the very last day of the season then that's a huge achievement for Carlo
  4. Daily Telegraph sell tickets but Im not sure how reliable they are.
  5. Why would ESPN show Austria vs Belgium (think it is) instead of Spain vs Czech Republic :(
  6. Torres called up for Spain aswell as Benayoun joining the Israel team.
  7. Tottenham drew which means that Mancini will probably go for the draw now and this draw should give the lads all the inspiration they need. KTBFFH
  8. From 4th to 2nd would be lovely. Lets hope Studge can help us!
  9. If we win then it's going to be tough for us to not finish in the top 4, especially top 3. We'll go above City with a game in hand and still have to play Spurs at home. The 4-4-2 might cause us worries as City will counter attack but if Ramires keeps moving in from the wing when they have possession we should deal with them. Luiz will handle Tevez and Zhirkov/Anelka should start as they have been better than Malouda and plus I think Drogba will be dropped to make place for Torres.
  10. You may have a point with Inter > Real but Leonardo's Inter? I am a huge La Liga fan and Real are as destructive as Barca going forward, if not better. Ozil, Di Maria, an in-form Benzema, Adebayor and Cristiano Ronaldo going forward on the counter attack. I would much rather Inter than Real as Inter are a helluva alot easier to beat.

http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/news/Chelsea-are-concerned-that-Fernando-Torres-is-suffering-from-homesickness-since-move-from-Liverpool-article713019.html surprised it took them this long. Also LMAO at the 1 shot on target
  12. lool "Manure"...... I love those Copenhagen fans Anyway, impressive peformance and we really were going for the win.Torres looked sharp and might just get "the goal" against United but he was hugely impressive. Anelka/Torres is working a treat and we should keep the same team for United's game. Well done to the fans who travelled and sang their heart out. Could hear them clearly. Thumbs up! Only worry was that the midfield wasn't tight enough and that could cost us in other games but I'm sure we'll work on that. It's not over yet but I'd be pretty confident of going to the quarter final though
  13. According to Twitter the word from Copenhagen is that Drogba will start on the bench with Torres and Anelka up front
  14. If Copenhagen don't sit back then we might just sneak an away goal
  15. A sad bitter Scouse. A world-class player made his decision and that was to leave the falling Liverpool to join the best team in England in the last 10 years. So fark off you washed up idiot
  16. Im very nervous for this game as I know f all about Copenhagen and how they're going to play against Chelsea I know that we need Torres/Drogba/Anelka/Lamps scoring goals too give us a chance of gooing through because this will be a tough tie. No Luiz worries me a bit though
  17. Tottenham don't have easy games left: Blackpool (a) Wolves (a) West Ham (h) Wigan (a) Stoke (h) Man City (a) West Brom (h) Chelsea (a) Blackpool (h) Liverpool (a) Birmingham (h) Arsenal (h)- TBD As yoou can see then Toottenham should atleast pick up 18 points with Blackpool away a tricky tie in which they could lose points there. They always struggle at Wolves, we should/need beat them, Arsenal can beat them and might aswell(especially) if their going for the title) and City away is always a tricky game. Sandwich those between Champions League games and if they beat AC Milan then Tottenham could stuggle to win a couple of games. Which is why a win against AC Milan wouldn't be tooo bad for us, considering that 'Arry would rest players. Our fixtures are: Fulham (a) Man Utd (h) Blackpool (a) Man City (h) Stoke (a) Wigan (h) WBA (a) West Ham (h) Tottenham (h) Man Utd (a) Newcastle (h) Everton (a) Birmingham (h)- TBD I would say that 18 points, like Spurs, should be got from those games and judging by City's pooor run of form and Utd's less-than-impressive performances then we could beat those two at home which would push us up to 24, Stoke away is one game we always win but I have a feeling we'll struggle there. Fulham on Monday will be tough and we should win and need too Newcastle and Wigan are dodgy and unless we're in impressive, confident form ahead of those games we could lose valuable points. Everton are our bogey team and we will probably drop points there. So adding the possible points I think the table will finish a little something like this: Chelsea 74 Tottenham 71 We both have 6 games we should win coupled with a lot of dodgy slip-ups. Really need to beat Fulham and get Torres firing. If we do both then I would be very confident of finishing 4th EDIT: Forgot about City, who could easily finish outside the top 4. Their fixtures are: Fulham (h) Wigan (h) Chelsea (a) Sunderland (h) Liverpool (a) Spurs (h) Blackburn (a) West Ham (h) Everton (a) Stoke (h) Bolton (a) Now for those of you who are wondering why I bolded the home games against Fulham and Stoke is because they could well get something from the games at COMS. City don't like playing against physical, defensive teams and if Hughesy plays his cards right by employing Kakuta, Dempsey on the counter attack then I wouldn't be surprised to see City slip up there. I think they will beat Stoke though The away games are the toughest they could have asked for and whilst I do think they will beat Bolton and possibly Blackburn they could just as easily drop points there. I think City will get atleast 10 points aswell from those games and that will leave them with, obviously coupled with possible points as they will get more:- City 67 So it might not even be us or Spurs that miss out.
  18. I would love to see: Cech Ivanovic Luiz Terry Cole Mikel Ramires Lampard Malouda Torres Anelka Yes we could go for the 4-3-3 but the beauty of it is if we wish too then we could go for that if its not working out during the game. But the team Carlo is lining up with: Cech Ivanovic Luiz Terry Cole Essien Ramires Lampard Anelka Torres Drogba This means that unless Drogba is encouraged too move out wide or Torres then we wil lack width. Anelka might move around a bit out to the wing but that still means that we don't have the option to switch to our Plan B. Carlo seems desperate to make this formation work but if it doesn't it could cost us dearly.
  19. My page just got bombarded with comments about the game but I just responded with a simple "So, who ye get in the Champions League"
  20. Carefree replied to Andreas's topic in General Chelsea FC
I think we just need to take it one game at a time. From us, Spuds, Citeh and the scouse- the scouse have the easiest games though and I would consider them the challengers not spurs anymore though
  21. LMAO at the Lpool fan who said Torres' body language said it all I have never seen Torres look so happy, relaxed, confident in my life but apparently his body language shows one of regret. Ah, Scousers- they do make us laugh. And Phil Thompson is a bitter kharnt and don't get me started on the "pretty boy" charlie nicholas
  22. Love the way Scousers are overreacting after beating Stoke, Fulham and Wolves aswell as signing an overpriced thug. Yeah, you defo got the better deal
  23. Looks very happy to be here
  24. Surprised to see him considering ending his career at 32
