@SydneyChelsea: True regarding the "Death of Football" midfield, but I feel that if we are to rebalance the midfield, just wait 1-2 seasons for Lamps to retire a legend, then push a replacement to the fore. Someone like Josh or the like. Selling Essien is a big mistake and one we WILL come to regret. He and Ramires are our fastest centre mids and to lose on of them would leave a huge hole in the centre of the park. Players like Essien who can run with pace and great stamina are few and far between. We should hang on to him for as long as possible.

@Blueskies: If you have nothing good to say, don't say anything. On-topic: The thing about Jose, is, unlike Blueskies, he always has SOMETHING relevant to say. I agree with Dorset that unlike Fergie, Jose's comments usually have a specific reference accompanying them. A circus he may bring, but there are more truths to his words then most other managers in todays game. Its quite sickening to see the kind of bias shown towards Barca by officials, but the more pressing question I feel, is how long will this last? Until Messi retires? Until Platini resigns? We may have to deal with this for a VERY long time.

Mancienne is 23 years old this year and has spent most of the last 5 years on load. Consider players like Mikel, who is 24, having spent their entire Chelsea career at the club. If Chelsea were serious about Mancienne, they'd have brought him back earlier. I very much doubt he has a future with us.

At no time, EVER, should we have only 3 CBs. Couple of years ago, for the most part, we only had Ricky, Alex and JT as CBs, and look where that got us? This season, until we bought Luiz, things were pretty crap as well, at the back. Just because Branna can play CB (more accurately, IS a CB), doesn't mean he should be included as 1 of the 4 we must have. Luiz, JT, Alex, Bruma - these are our CBs this season, with Branna pulling a shift now and again, depending on need. Next season, we must continue with the trend of having 4 CBs, with Branna as an emergency option. He's done well at RB, and adds a fourth goal threat for us (all our first-choice defenders can and have scored/set up goals). Whoever leaves, must be replaced by someone of comparable experience and skill, or at least a hot prospect.

"It doesn't matter how their scored, they all count." Also, kudos to all the Shed Enders what called RVPs comments a few weeks back, succesfully predicting we'd finish above them on points. I know the season's not over, but its looking more and more likely now.

I'm sure Mrs Torres will have something to say about that. :) Great game, well chuffed to see Nando score. he's been a professional since joining and fully deserved it. Hopefully he'll now go on to score more for us. I know it may be a pipe dream, but what if his late, late goal rush is what propels us to the title (or within a hairs' breath of it)? Massive. The boys are up for it, and so are the fans (on here at any rate). Bring the noise.
