  1. I think the biggest boost Carlo has given me is his willingness to change up (albeit a little on the slow side). He's identified his strongest line-up and knows how to mix up players pretty well given the injuries we've had.
  2. Showoff! :) Now kindly explain this three door thingamabob please. I don't think Carlo will let the team slide against Pompey. It may be a walkover on paper but he at least will want to show Roman he still is the right man for the job. Some of the players are also fighting for their contracts. That and the WC means we'll probably see a very professional performances from the boys.
  3. Have you lot forgotten this piece of sh*t already?
  4. You don't say....;P I like Di Maria, but wouldn't pay more than 15 million for him.
  5. 1) Rooney keep up his excellent form. Don't think anyone here believes the Rooney is a one-hit wonder. I only hope that Fergie hasn't blown his chances of a stellar WC by playing him against Bayern. 2) Terry to remain impervious at the back. He's put in some decent performances of late and I believe that a solid surge for the double will be a huge confidence boost for him after a torrid half a year. 3) A fit and focused Ashley Cole. In a tourney set to be dominated by fast, tricky wide players, having the best left back in the world available is a huge boost 4) Lamps not fade: Frankie had a horrible WC 06 so here's to him silencing his critics (but who is StevenGerrard anyway?) 5) Gareth Barry. Gaspshockhorror. I'd take a fit and fighting Owen Hargreaves in an instant, but beggars can't be choosers. 6) Joe Cole to be more than a pedestrian. With Theo Walcott looking more and more like an expensive flop (makes Scott Sinclair look less of a complete waste of cash), Joe's one of the few remaining wingers who still can deliver. Fingers crossed. 7) Messi to break international labour and footie laws and declare himself for England owing to a shady familial tie with one Geezer.......... .............wishful thinking I know !
  6. Have you not thought that MAYBE these tourists speak very little English? That maybe the were a little intimidated by all these white people around them? Many Asians tend to associate hooliganism with football in the West and were merely trying to leave the stadium in one piece. Just because they don't scream their lungs out for 120 minutes doesn't mean you should be prejudiced against them.
  7. He'd probably do a better job of it than Heskey!
  8. I think that given what we paid for Yuri (and his potential from the last few games at any rate), and the fact that Ash still has at least 3 years left in him (hope the latest injury didn't knacker him too much) at top level, Bertrand will most likely leave. It a bit of a waste as Ash would've been a great mentor for him and, had Yuri not come in, could act as a natural replacement for Ash in a couple of years time. But that's football I guess.
  9. Oh. Well, something's gotta give...
  10. Whassamatter? You don't like Maiden?
  11. Nope. Feel free to call-up Jay-Z, P Djddy and Enigma if you like
  12. Full actors list: Sylvester Stallone Jason Statham Jet Li Dolph Lundgren Randy Couture Terry Crews Eric Roberts Steve Austin Mickey Rourke Bruce Willis Arnold Schwarzenegger That's a LOT of muscle.
  13. Something for both the boys AND the girls.
  14. You'd close with Pink Floyd? Nice.
  15. Are Tenacious D still around? Heard they disbanded after Pick of Destiny

Uhm, a bit unclear here....if I REALLY wanted to wipe EVERYTHING clean, I'd do what.....use Eraser than format then use Eraser again?
  17. So here's the scenario: You have the funds and rep to pull any currently active group/solo act in the world to perform in a 3-day concert (ala Woodstock). What acts would you call and what would you call the concert? Mine are: Welcome to Oblivion Metallica Iron Maiden Red Hot Chilli Peppers Alter Bridge Bloodbound Hammerfall Disturbed U2 Lacuna Coil (if only to see Christina Scabbia) Korn PS - Loz's would prolly be called "LollapaLozza" or something
  18. Iron Maiden - Ghost of the Navigator of their Brave New World album. Up the Irons!
  19. Kalou Yes. Wishful thinking. I know.

Oh man, what's wrong with GLee? Talented cast, great song, HAWT girls! HAHHAHAHAHHA I actually think that Rachel is a real sleeper beauty. She may be portraying a geek, but her outfits really highlight what a great figure she has.....

Nah, never bothered with Entourage.....some shows just don't grab me. Dexter Season 4 is da BOMB! Easily the best one since its debut......it ends with a BANG!!! In case anyone's dead bored, here are some of my other favs, so the rest of you guys can get on board: - Jericho - Prison Break - Fringe - Glee - Weeds (already mentioned here, but damn its good! Just try not to get....too inspired, 'k?) Happy viewing!

I watch it too! True, not one for the kids, and yes, season 3 was a let-down, but the last 10 minutes more than made up for everything. Another highly recommended show is Dexter (also on Showtime). Its been 4 seasons and this show still captivates me (again, not for the kids)!
  23. Not a big fan of either brand (Compaq is like the unwanted adopted kid of the family, really), but I'd go with the HP, as its more of an all-round machine specs-wise.
