The "everything you want to say about Torres" thread
For those saying he needs time, how much time exactly does he need? How many teams need to be adapted to him? The liverpool team was built around him with him as the focal point of the team. The Spanish team was one of the best of the generation, and particularly Iniesta, Xavi and Alonso some of the best passers around. Our team has been changed for him with Mata and Sturridge now starting most games with him. For well over two years the bloke has been absolutley dreadful. He has been at the club nearly a year: played well at Old Trafford, against Leverkusen, Genk (who lets be honest would struggle in the Championship) and for the small amount of time against Swansea he was on the pitch and possibly Stoke. In a year at the club is that enough? In two years with with the players around him is that enough? Its sad to see but its been one of the biggest falls from grace ive seen. Hes not a bad player now, but he is nowhere near the player he was and in two years has shown no consistent evidence that he is going to get back near his best.

Chelsea v. Liverpool (LC) 29/11/2011 KO. 19:45 BST
Im pretty sure it gets settled on the night. Thats what happened when we were at goodison this year. Be interesting to see the liverpool team. As you said a trip to new wembley and chance of a trophy for Daglish. Ive got a feeling it wont be as weakened as he suggested but we shall see

He always conveniently forgets the Hernendez handball for their goal in that game.

Anyone watching MOTD? Granted, the penalty for Newcastle was never a pen. But every United fan i heard on 606 said they should have have had a pen against Evra for handball, but typical BBC didnt show it so that they can say how unlucky Man utd were

MOTM vs Wolves
Went for Sturridge today. He is that player we were looking for last year that can beat a player. He needs to get more confidence in his right foot however. Romeu was class today. I really hope he gets that holding role over Mikel from now on. Ramires had a good game as well

Chelsea v Wolves (PL) 26/11/11 KO 15:00 GMT
Lets wait till the final whistle in the other games......its happened all too often that late goals go against us. Im so glad Romeu got the nod today....hopefully today is the end of Mikel starting ahead of him in the team.

Drogba for Torres needs to happen soon

Chelsea v Wolves (PL) 26/11/11 KO 15:00 GMT
I hope Torres gets a good half hour today. Wolves are putting up much of a win, the win is pretty much there so no pressure. Get on him for a good half hour and see what he can do against this lot.

You can only assume that Villas-Boas doesnt rate him. He never even gets on the bench. Playing the odd carling cup game (where he doesnt play the whole game) isnt enough in my opinion. Feel sorry for the lad. If i was him I would be banging the door down trying to get a loan move.

Id be pleased i Romeu was. He has been very good in the carling cup, and in my opinion can play the holding role in the premiership as well

What trophy brought you the most happiness?
The 1998 cup final against middlesborough was big for me as it was my first cup final. The league in 2005 was also massive

Ex Chelsea players that you'd gladly welcome back
I'm assuming you meant players that are good now as opposed to players retired players that used to play for us etc? Based on that Robben and Carvalho would be my choices

Chelsea v Liverpool (PL) 20/11/11 KO 16:00 GMT
Difference is Malouda is 31, Sturridge is 22. Whose game is more likely to adapt and improve now?

Chelsea v Liverpool (PL) 20/11/11 KO 16:00 GMT
Malouda? Oh you mean the bloke who completely miskicked the ball and didnt have a clue where it was going (which was wide btw)

Chelsea v Liverpool (PL) 20/11/11 KO 16:00 GMT
Are you having a f***ing laugh?? That was Cechs fault. There was noone close enough to Mikel to cause him a problem. Bear in mind Mikel is a player who is supposedly good enough at football to earn 60 grand a week out of it, yet he cant control a f***in ball and play it back. The bloke wouldnt get in any other top side going for the title, yet he consistently gets into our team. He slows the game down, he cant tackle, he cant shoot, what the hell is he in the team for? The attack today has been pathetic. Malouda has done nothing, not a thing. We put a player like Mata on the pitch but instead rely on knocking the ball up in the air to drogba. Brilliant. I bet Daglish doesnt have a clue what to do with his defence against us.

Malouda and mikel aside i would say it is the right team. Would have preffered miereles and sturridge (even considering his poor performances in big games). Your always garunteeed a moment with Luiz, lets hope its at the right end this time.

Oriol Romeu Vidal
Hopefully that headline is correct. Impressed with this lad in the few games he has played. Hoping he gets more PL starts to build up his experience.

I think that means there is a reduced blood flow to the brain. Must be a small blockage if its a small intervention

Super fast players
Wright phillips was quick. Gronkjear has to be the one for me though.........such a frustrating player

Chelsea vs Arsenal (PL) 29/10/2011 KO. 12:45 BST
Nervous about this one. Arsenal have picked up form now, mainly due to RVP. Cech Bos-Ivan-JT-Cole Meireles Ramires-Lampard Mata-Torres-Sturridge

Terry - Allegation/Captaincy (merged)
This has probably already been mentioned but, I dont understand why there is a massive witch hunt for Terry, yet Saurez has been accused of the same thing. In fact Saurez was accused by the 'victim', whereas Terry was accused by someone no where near the incident. The Chelsea player is subject to a massive public campaign, the Liverpool player is forgotten about..
