  1. If Hulk signs as rumours have it I'll go for him. If not I'll go for Captain America or somebody. </unoriginality>
  2. If supporters of other clubs want Chelsea to win this game, I welcome it. If they don't, I forgive it. Shouldn't really expect anything from supporters of other clubs. As long as we as Chelsea fans are together, nobody else matters.
  3. Although Giggs maybe hasn't been the best player in the Premier League era, you would be hard pushed to find a player that defines the premier league more. As much as I hate to admit it, he deserves the award.
  4. My Nephew Charlie. His big brother is a Chelsea supporter, but unfortunately he seems to have contracted some kind of a disease from his spuds supporting father.
  5. If the clubs are negotiating then the buyout clause means nothing more than a negotiating tool for thre selling party. There's no way we'd need to pay anywhere near that amount.
  6. that's not a bad turn out at all. Get a few more thousand and that could almost fill the stadium.
  7. I'm pretty sure that suspened players do get medals, but they're not presented to them on the pitch.
  8. We have no real clue as to what has been going on off the pitch at the club. It's unfair that the blame is completely apportioned to any one party. All I can hope is that the right decision has been made. If for the future stability of the club certain players need to leave, then let us hope that also happens.
  9. I don't really dislike any team, I don't really see the point in it. However there are certain sets of fans that I hate, such as Liverpool, Leeds and Newcastle. They all seem to think that they're owed something by the football gods, rather than having to earn it. For this reason, and the fact that I have an extreme dislike for Jamie Carragher, I went for Liverpool on the Poll. But Leeds and Newcastle come close.
  10. The ball is a lot lighter these days, and heading one will not cause nearly as many problems as the old heavier balls. I wouldn't think it's a problem these days.
  11. Just read on Twitter (from the official Chelsea feed) that Romeu, Lukaku, Bertrand and McEachran will all play some part, as well as Drogba. Will be happy to see what they can do.
  12. He's been in the country for ten years, I think somebody may have noticed at an earlier age if he was older than he claimed to be. Particularly by anything more than two years.
  13. Just read this article on the Metro website. http://www.metro.co.uk/sport/875079-nicolas-anelka-offered-chelsea-exit-with-lucrative-transfer-to-qatar Couldn't say that there appears to be any substance to it, there's no quotes from anybody, and they seem to be basing their argument on the fact that we have an abundance of strikers, and a pregtty large wage bill.
  14. Just wondering if anybody has read this article? http://www.footballtransfertavern.com/2011/09/premiership/chelsea/has-abv-masterminded-an-18m-fiasco It seems that big bad Chelsea are ruining the career of the one of the worlds best strikers. I've never heard of Transfer Tavern, and the guy writing it is clearly clueless.
  15. I'm another this could have happened to. Though I have never supported another team my dad is a ManUre supporter, and it could easily have been them I ended up supporting, like my younger brothers and sisters. Luckily for me my step dad raised me and he's a Chelsea supporter.
  16. This makes perfect sense. If we were to sign him and loan him back playing against us would be a problem, either because of rules or personal loyalty. It's why I thought the deal might have stalled, though I'm not by any means an expert.
  17. If he starts showing a lot of promise early on then we'll be able to apply for a work permit early under the exceptional talent rule. Which would be the ideal.
  18. He just tweeted a pic from Three Point Lane. Will this bring about reports he's signing for tottenham?
  19. Providing we get a pretty big bulk buy discount, that stuff's about £1.50 a bottle now.
  20. Cue 'Buns' jokes. I'd like to see PVA get a few minutes here and there, as a sub at the end of games, maybe starting in some of the games of lesser importance, and the same goes for Bertrand. From what I've seen I'd have to agree with Eggy McMuffin in that PVA has more potential to improve than Bertrand. Maybe it is time for one or the other of them to be pushed on now, or maybe let them go.
  21. Just read on his Twitter that he has a Cruciate Ligament injury and will be out for 6-9 months. It's a pretty big blow for a kid at this stage of his career, and I hope he has a speedy recovery.
  22. A friend just told me he's a second striker or winger, so scratch that last comment.
  23. Another striker? What a great bit of business that'd be.
  24. I'm with the camp that always thought that he would come good. I too remember his first few games for us, and always tipped him for greater things.
