Bolton v Chelsea (PL) 24/1/11 KO 20:00 GMT
A number of things: Bolton fans are awful, they have one song and that involves the word cheat. Allardyce needs to turn his phone off. I think we're playing well and its been largely comfortable so far barring a really good save from Cech. KTBFFH!

Wolverhampton Wanderer v Chelsea (PL) 05/01/2011 19:45 GMT
With all the talk of us buying a Defender this month does anyone else think we're looking at the completely wrong position? Sure we've had a few mishaps lately at the back but generally defensively we've been unlucky, allbeit with a few lapses in concentration here and there. The real problem is with the wingers. A bit like back when we had Scolari in charge when opposing teams decide to close our fullbacks down and offer them little space going forward we have no width whatsoever. Anelka isnt even a winger, and Malouda cuts in all the time. What struck me last night was the lack of movement from everyone, the centre of midfield is far too functional. Dont get me wrong i think Lamps Essien and Ramires (who's improving every game in my opinion) are great players but if we bought a winger then i think we would start performing again, does anyone else agree? I think Mceachran is a very intelligent player for his age and needs to be given a chance to play more often, he's the kind of player that will drift around as well linking up play much better then everyone else is at the moment. I still dont think Drogba is fully fit and its looking like alot of the other players out there are jaded, f**k it i would like us to rotate the players a hell of a lot more than what we're doing now, just so it means our senior ones can be rested and if we sign another attacker this month then we can start chasing down utd definately! sorry that went on for a bit... KTBFFH!!!

The fans
The fans were brilliant on Sunday, nothing better than watching the game in a bar full of liverpool fans and hearing everyone moan about how 'we have no history', only for our lot to be heard on the TV 'your ancient history!'. Superb! We're truelly the greatest supporters in the league! PS: I know its very frowned upon etc but what kind of price would i be looking at if i were to perhaps buy a ticket outside the ground on Sunday? anybody know? I should probably be paying rent and tuition fees etc but my i figure the rest of my student loan would be spent more wisely this way! Been to a few away games where the tickets have gone on general sale but im gutted i havnt been able to get to a home game yet! i understand mods if you deem this message inappropriate and delete it regards

Good to see the Kop on one of their famous European nights causing a stir by being quiet for pretty much all of extra time. Somebody steal their voices?

hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha oooooooohhhhh god i am not bitter at all! Get in there jose, was actually on the edge of my seat for the last 10 minutes. Classic Barcelona handballing it in injury time. What a sh*t referee eh?
-
I never liked him in a blue shirt...
De Lucas, just couldnt stand him for some reason, he didnt exactly cover himself with glory either. He was sh*t. Always admired Scholes a footballer as well, just think he's a great midfielder although he cannot do one of the fundamental basics of the game and tackle- the twat!

Liverpool vs Chelsea (Prem) 02/05/10 1330 KO
the completion of my dissertation has been completely undermined by this fixture. Please God, let us win! I would start Kalou instead of Joe, lately Joey just seems far too predictable in what he does (cut inside, step over, one touch too many, give the ball away) i think he's playing for his world cup place and trying to do too much, resulting in him giving the ball away constantly. Plus i wouldnt want to drop Kalou after his hat trick at the weekend lets hope he can write himself into legendary status by doing the same on Sunday! :) Im feeling confident though that as long as we come out of the blocks firing on all cylinders the dippers wont be able to handle our intensity and (touch wood) we can beat them no matter what team they put out. COME ON CHELSEA! :D

No doubt the FM players amongst us will love it if we got him, if hes anything like he is on that he's going to be one hell of a player! On another not I know Robben is an extremely good player but why do defenders let him cut inside time and time again??

Spurs vs Chelsea (Prem) 17/4/10 1730 KO
What an awful performance. I would have kept Joey on preferably and maybe taken Deco off. Even though Lampard was sh*t he does pop up with a goal from time to time. Other than that i have no quabbles with Carlos tactics just the players let everyone down today with an embarassing performance. They could have had 5 or 6 it was a disgrace. The players need to take a long hard look at themselves after this and decide whether they actually want to win the league or not, if so then start f**king playing like it. We are top of the league still though so COME ON CHELSEA! Ps. Can somebody please kill David Pleat? What an absolute bellend, "No the spurs fans are not leaving the game early, they just want to avoid the traffic", well they are then arent they you stupid twat.

Man Utd vs Chelsea (Prem) 03/04/10 1245 KO
Been reading through a few papers this morning and i love how they have all failed to pick up on the fact that atleast one of either Scholes or Neville should have been sent off. Ridiculous. Ferguson can moan all he wants but Mike Dean did them more favours than us. Some of the papers were saying that Uniteds was a definate penalty and that Macheda's goal was an accidental handball but was 'rightly' given. I knew we were disliked by the media but this is just blind. Still though what a result and a great performance as well. COME ON CHELSEA!

Carlo's Replacement
In a way yes. Results wise the damage had been done long ago. We could and probably should have wrapped this title up long ago, we had so many chances to extend the gap over Utd all of which we have squandered and they have found themselves back in it. Were we not 11 points clear of Arsenal at one point?? The players need to take a long hard look at themselves as does Carlo, where was the motivation? the fighting spirit? its been non existent these last few months. Sure there have been injuries, most important of which to Essien who we have missed massively, but its a managers job to adapt the side to counter this kind of problem, and even though some people on here give Ballack and Mikel alot of stick, they are still quality players who are capable of winning the league.

Carlo's Replacement
The whole part about the team lacking width in the 2nd half i completely agree with, and watching it yesterday i found myself shouting at the screen. When Deco came on everyone was getting in each others way it seemed and all in the middle of the park as well. Didnt Carlo realise that Salgado is probably the slowest person on this earth?? any form of pace could have exploited this and thats why the kalou substitution completely baffled me. There other full back wasn't exactly covering himself in glory either and looked nervous yet we didnt seem to pick up on this and exploit that also. Thats my opinion though, and im not on £100k a week to decide

Chelsea vs Blackburn (Prem) 21/03/10 16:00 KO GMT
The only saving grace in regards to this is that Gerrard has been woeful this season as well. Perhaps if Ancelotti came out and openly criticised some of the players for underperforming then it might provoke some sort of positive reaction?? I doubt it will ever happen though as he doesnt seem to interact with the squad at all.

MOTM vs Blackburn
I went for Kalou. I cant believe he was taken off when he was our most effective and dangerous player barring Malouda perhaps? Woeful use of substitutions yet again.

Chelsea vs Blackburn (Prem) 21/03/10 16:00 KO GMT
I agree with you to some extent about Anelka. The first half he was playing extremely well but as the 2nd half wore on it was becoming more and more apparent that he was losing his effectiveness and in my opinion should have come off earlier. To say what was said about him earlier though is ridiculous your right.

Chelsea vs Blackburn (Prem) 21/03/10 16:00 KO GMT
Well there goes our season. First half we were great, got an early goal could have scored more, but the warning signs were there at the end of the half when you could see us taking the foot off the gas once again. Cant defend Ancelotti at all today. For the first 20 mins of the second half it was all blackburn and we had no foothold in the game whatsoever, so instead of making a sub that can alter our play and get our grip back on things, he waits until they equalise. Then brings of Kalou who i thought was very effective today, where it should have been anelka going off. Leave it till the 90th minute to FINALLY bring on another striker when we are in desperate need of a goal to be in with a shout of winning the league still but no... why would he? Extremely dissapointed that our title and european ambitions have ended on the back of two spineless performances overall.

Chelsea vs Inter Milan (CL) 16/03/10 1945 KO
http://www.zonalmarking.net/2010/03/16/che...-from-mourinho/ A very interesting article and one which i agree with to an extent. I do believe the defeat the other night was down to the players not performing rather than Ancelotti's tactics.

Chelsea vs Manchester City (Prem) 27/02/10 1245 KO
Agree with this point, we seem to lack any drive and motivation to win the title. We've come out for matches this season and seemed very complacent on a number of occasions. Ofcourse the players being the experienced internationals they are need to look at themselves as well and address the issue but i just cant picture Carlo or Good old Ray giving the players a proper dressing down when they're playing badly. Right now they need a massive kick up the arse and to get themselves focused on winning matches and bringing the league back to Stamford Bridge instead of all the hoorah thats going on in the press.

Fabregas was the one that made the two worst tackles in the stoke game the other day. The Shawcross tackle was just misfortunate, a heavy touch leading to two committed players both going fairly for the ball. I think Arsenal players/fans/manager need to stop trying to play the innocent act, after all some of the challenges there players make are disgusting and have been lucky not to result in serious injuries themselves. Typically some Arsenal fans on 606 were moaning about how the FA should protect them from teams who are anti-football...
