i just dont think you can plan to have a player in your team/squad when there is a 50/50 chance he is going to get injured its not as if he does a lot when he plays anyway

CC Final vs Arse
I'll be stunned if Bridge doesnt play. Stunned. Cech Paulo Riccy Essien Bridge Maka Ballsack Lampard SWP or Kalou Shev Drogba Obviously SWP is a surprise choice, but i just get this feeling he might start. Ive given up on Robben. Playing Mikel ahead of SWP or Kalou is a little defensive and i just dont see the point in doing that in a Cup final. Id love it to be a fast entertaining game. After all , all the neutrals and media will be siding with 'Arsenes Young Gunners' for this one. Id f**king love to shove it up em playing some good stuff. I doubt it will happen though. So you can replace SWP with Mikel! And me! Getting train from Brum which rules me out of all the London traffic

Michael Ballack
I really am starting to hate that sarcastic smile and laugh he makes when he doest get a free kick after going down after a nothing challenge or after giving away yet another blatant free kick

Barca vs. Scousers
I hate Liveppol, not the club but mainly because of those fans. However you have to tip your cap to them last night. As has been said, lets hope they play like that when the Mancs come to their city.

JT to miss cup final - no full diagnosis yet
Its a blow, but its not a disaster. Losing Cech again wouldve been a disaster. Its only a few weeks ago we had Hilliario in goal with Paulo and Essien as centre backs! Quite simply Riccy needs to be wrapped in cotton wool and not allowed within 5 miles of anyone who has had a cold in the past year. He now becomes our most important player, not our best player, but our most important one. Essien and Riccy is a good defence partnership and with Cech behind them we will still be solid, but as has been pointed out we will miss a leader (if it were up to me id have Drogs as captain) Sadly we will miss Essiens drive in the middle but we have enough quality there to prevail. We have to make do and its up to some of our players to step up and respond. Fingers crossed JT will be out for no more than a month. But like i said, this is no disaster. ps - Ive given up on Robben as a Chelsea player now i really have.

IT Support & Maintenance qualifications.......
I think its called a Career Development Loan or CDL. BB if i was you i would make a choice between Support or Maintenance, you are not going to find too many jobs that cover both and i would assume that if you did they would be with very small places. I dont know any thing about PC maintenance but like you said im sure there are some courses you can try. As far as support goes i would suggest your best bet if you are already pretty PC literate is to study for a basic MCP moving on to a MCDST (Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician) which is 2 exam passes.. Once you have this you would be able to get a desktop support postition pretty easily though it wouldnt be that well paid (though i cant say for sure!) . Then as time goes by and you gain experience (which IMO is the key) you could choose what area you would like to delve further into and aim for perhaps a MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) or MCSA Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator) I would be wary of choosing a company such as Computeach or Apparenta that promies you to get qualified in 6 months or whatever thoguh and then promises you a job in 8 months. They are generally all rip offs. They will charge you the earth. My advice if you were to study for these exams is get a good study book , get copies of the software and get your head down. I have lots of disks and lots of books which i wuold be more than happy to lend you. There are lots of forums out there from people studying or looking to study and i would set aside a good day or two searching all these for help and advise and reading other peoples stories. Beware, IT is full of tossers though! Some proper twats out there, the best thing i have found is there slaways seems to be lots of fit women in office jobs! Erm moving back ontopic - Details of all the Micosoft Certifications are here. http://www.microsoft.com/learning/mcp/default.mspx Whatever you choose, best of luck!

Chelsea?s critics guilty of switching from the historical to
I actually think Samuel has been quite positive towards us over the past few years (at least most of the time) I think he is generally quite fair. I could say the same of Oliver Holt too. The worst culprit is Patrick Collins of The Mail. His ramblings are so biased it borders on unprofessionalsim.

I dont think there can be any doubt about that - actually if you were to ask me to list my 3 fave Cure albums i would plump for Disintegration, Pornography and Bloodflowers, all three albums in Bobby Smiths linked slower more melancholy trilogy wheres the tunes you list are slightly more uptempo and more abrasive. Glad you mentioned 'A Forest'. What a tune. The first song in every goths handbook! The 12" extended mix of that is fantastic, as is the version on Mixed Up (im sure you will be appalled i said that!) Disintegration is tough. Id go for Plainsong and predictably 'Lullaby' if pushed. Kiss Me id go for The Kiss and Why Cant I Be You? (an unlikely choice i guess). Im not really best qualified to talk about Wish as i dont actually own it im sure ive heard it but i never really bothered with it after i heard the first 2 singles which i hated (High and Friday Im...) I thought the latter was simply terrible. Compare this to the band of Seventeen Seconds etc. Good lord. Shocking. On the other hand what did you think of The Lovecats ? Now that is how The Cure should do pop music. Fantastic stuff! EDIT - actually isnt 'From the Edge of the Deep Green Sea' on Wish ? I do actually like that song a lot. Its on a live album ive got somwhere.

you can get copies on ebay quite easily - it isnt anywhere near as rare as it used to be because it was actually released briefly as a limited edition in the 90s, expect to pay between 15 and 20 quid (or im happy to burn you a copy for nothing!)

I suppose a rocks out of the question ? Ok Sticking faithful to the orginal thread title (alternative between 83 and 86) here is my list. I was aged- 9-11 during these years so i should add these are records i have picked up over time (i think if youd have asked me to include my fave records during these years youd have a list that included Duran Duran, Tears For Fears and yes Loz, The Thompson Twins!) So 1983-1986 in no order The Smiths - The Queen Is Dead The Psychedelic Furs - Talk Talk Talk Jesus & Mary Chain - Psychocandy Talking Heads - Speaking In Tongues New Order - Power, Corruption & Lies The Pogues - Rum, Sodomy and The Lash The Cult - Love Depeche Mode - Black Celebration Japan - Tin Drum Violent Femmes - ST 10 Other 80s albums not from those years The Cure - Disentigration The Wonderstuff - The Eight Legged Groove Machine The Stones Roses- ST New Order - Technique The Smiths - Strangeways Here We Come The Wedding Present - George Best The Blow Monkeys - She Was Only A Grocers Daughter (seriously!) The Beat - I Just Cant Stop It The Clash - Combat Rock Joy Division - Closer Out of interest of the 20 choices there, there are only 2 American acts. Though as ive mentioned earlier im really getting into The Replacements 'Let It Be' (1984) at the moment so in time that could usurp one of the others.

They are definitley worth a look Loz. I think you will be pleasantly surprised. Im sure you will be able to pick up 'The Cure' and 'Bloodflowers' for a fiver each from somewhere. Robert Smith said he wanted 'Bloodflowers' to pick up from 'Disintegration' in the same way 'Disentigration' picked up from 'Pornography' and you can see what he meant. The first track 'Out Of This World' IMO is one of the best things they have ever done. Actually, i'll send it you if you want? When ive got sometime this afternoon im going to get myself a coffee and do my list and pick then Bluebeards list above to shreds!!!

Barca vs. Scousers
i want the grief addicted historians to win purely because i want to play them in the semi finals. at the bridge first and then at the 'fortress' ideally id prefer us to win by a dodgy goal too.
