MOTM vs Blackburn
Was the bloody bandaged head performance against Bolton last year that kept my faith high. Nice to see him and Malouda on the pitch together, I thought Malouda, may have seen him looking for an exit, due to lack of starts.

Good shout for our No 1....didn't even cross my mind!

Don't like to jump on the band wagon, but, Zhirkov all the way

lamps theory
Peter Kenyon looks the type to particularly enjoy tampering with his own groin!

lamps theory
Thought he had a groin injury on to contend with as well??

Bossi back this month?
I feel the same, I think Bosingwa needs to fight for selection after the performances Ivanovic has put in during the last year. For me Ivanovic has been one of our key players during this time and occasionally under rated. Sometimes, I think his "get on with it and show no reaction" attitude, lets him go unnoticed, which is a shame.

Zhirkov - Zenit bid
That was Bolton and if memory serves me well, he was awarded man of the match for that performance. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z6Xi8hdtwRE

Liverpool
I can't believe for a second this deal will not be done. If Hicks does not walk away, he faces administration, this is a desperate attempt to salvage whatever they can. I can see a niche in the market for inflatable cigars!

Osgood unveiled
It was a nice moment today to see two young fans in there teens making their way up early today, not, to drink as much as they could before the game like me, but, to take some pictures of the Ossie statue. I drank in the Imperial this afternoon and remembered both Ossie and Matthew Harding who use to both drink together in the corner before the game. R.I.P

MOTM vs Arsenal
Seem to be going against the grain, but, Drogba for me...terrorised them yet again. Essien close second.

Chelsea Pub
If you get off the train at West Brompton: Prince of Wales - Busiest and noisiest (2 big screens) Lillian Langtree - Not bad, but more of an overflow from the Prince of Wales. Both left out of the station, cant really miss them, both opposite each other Immediate right out of the station. The Tournament - Busy and good atmosphere...although been having problems with Sky this season, leading to a mass exodus when the games kick off. If you get off at Fulham Broadway: Fulham Tup - Look it up on Google Earth/Maps or you won't find it if you don't know the area. Good atmosphere, but a bit of a rugby conflict going on with the Sky Sports viewing, although never known this on match days. The Morrison - Very busy Chelsea stronghold and the match will always be on. turn left out of Fulham broadway, look for Brittania Road on the right, head up here and its on the corner as Brittania Rd meets Kings Rd. I would recommend these for atmosphere, loads of other tucked away, but would recommend these if you don't get down much and want the atmosphere and not somewhere to put your feet up. If you really want some atmosphere, have a pint just before kick off in the So Bar opposite the entrance to the ground (Brittania Gate). You can sing until your tonsils bleed and get soaked in flat lager. Not too sure if they show the match, but, you can always head back to one of the others, as they will be empty during the match.

Chelsea Pub
I've got a mate who occasionally travels up with us to the ground and watches the game in the pub while we go to the ground. Are you looking for a pub to watch the game near the ground, so you can soak up the pre/post match atmosphere?

MOTM vs Marseille
Malouda for me, thought he had a great first half.

Ramires learning his trade..........but its tough
I think it is far to early to give an opinion of any accuracy on how Ramires will shape up, however, I do think given his size and speed, he is going to spend a lot of time being kicked up in the air by frustrated opponents. For me this will be his biggest challenge short term.

Lofty's Wall of Sound - What are you listening to?
I took the family on holiday to Florida this year, there are a series of busy walkways leading up to Universal Studios, above which speakers were blaring out 'A boy with the thorn in his side'. It was quite a surreal moment!

Where Is Bossy?
I agree, I think full fitness by mid December would be a bonus with the fixtures we have within three weeks of each other. 8 Wed Marseille 11 Sat Tottenham Hotspur 18 Sat Manchester United 26 Sun Arsenal

An easy start to the season
Although not impossible, I guess the odds are against us getting a really tough start to the season. Given the teams currently in the premiership, I think we would be disappointed if we dropped points to the majority of them, if we are to be in contention for the title. If we did get a tough start, I would lay money on the media bemoaning us an easy run in to the end of season.

Where Is Bossy?
I don't think it can come quick enough, considering the games we have coming up!

Where Is Bossy?
I believe his last game for us was away against Aston Villa, Oct 17th last year. Fingers crossed for a good game in the reserves this week.

MSK Zilina v Chelsea (MOTM)
Switched between Essien and Benayoun before going for Benny.

The next bands you are going to see?
Surely not the Lee "Scratch" Perry? How old must he be now? I remember him back in the early eighties and he wasn't young then!!!

MSK Zilina v Chelsea (CL) 15/09/10, 19:45 BST
Looks like Terry being rested is a distinct possibility: Link 'John Terry took a knock on his rib, and we will look in the next day and [see] if he is fit for Wednesday,' the manager said. 'I don't think it is broken, he took a knock in the first half, played again for 60 minutes and had pain at the end of the game so I took him out.

West Ham vs Chelsea (MOTM)
Going for Ivanovic, more of an an aggregated vote.....I could not pick anyone else as having an outstanding match, but felt Ivan was, as Barry states, his usual solid self. Early days...but got a good feeling watching Ramires feeling his way in.
