  1. Weird...I sent an identical txt a few moments ago!! even think the number of punctuation marks were of the same number...too pissed to count now!
  2. it's official, a Chelsea w**kfest from Sky pundits....a first maybe?
  3. Is it OK to vote for Moses, when he only played for a very short time? Was very impressed when he came on. PS - I see others have, so have too.
  4. Love this...sat in the Shed Upper listening to people slating him the second he puts a foot wrong for too long!
  5. What a great post...really summed up the day at Wembley for me...although Kalou still has a part to play for me.
  6. I had a spare child ticket for the semi's against Arsenal one year and was told by the club that an adult could not get in on it because it was cheaper than an adult ticket. My wife did not go due to this, as we did not want to chance, one of us not getting in. I sold it on the train for a tenner to someone without a ticket, explaining I could not guarantee he would get in on it and it was a chance he'd have to take. 20 minutes later he was sitting beside me and said he had no problems whatsoever.
  7. At the QPR match today, aimed at Cisse. To Whole World in His Hands.... He's got bird sh*t on his head. He's got bird sh*t on his head.
  8. I would recommend the Prince of Wales in West Brompton (turn left out the station, cant miss), they will more than likely have something going on, anyone who was in there after we last won the Prem would probably vouch for it. The landlords are full on Chelsea fans, they are running a london bus playing Chelsea songs to the ground and back for the FA Final next week, with lunch for £20....keeps the pub busy and saves me the aggro of getting in and out of Wembley on the trains. Failing that, the Little Imperial next door will be buzzing, much smaller (proper) pub, loud ska music, and not for children....I wouldn't advise taking liberties with the landlord though!
  9. Obviously not a regular chant, but, this one was directed at the Bolton fans from the Shed Upper yesterday: We're winning 3 - 0. We're winning 3 - 0. How sh*t must you be, we're winning 3 - 0.
  10. Have wondered this often myself, I like to think that someone who comes across as thoughtful and pragmatic...like say, Frank Lampard, would probably pick up a pretty good insight into the tactics deployed around him, whereas, someone less thoughtful, say, er hmm....Joey Barton, may just pull on his boots and go out and play, giving little thought to anything going on around him.
  11. I think the tube strike killed off some of the atmosphere, I have never seen the pubs so deserted before a game...guess a lot of people were forced into driving?
  12. I don't think the question is whether JT is a racist or whether the context of what was have alleged to have been said is relevant. Anyone who has been employed in the last 20 years knows full well the consequences of making a statement of the type alleged. No employer or governing body is going to be seen to let it take place if it is proven.
  13. I was also listening to some of the comments from the seats around me.."about time too", "he's had his day", "get him off, he's f%$king sh*t", etc all taken up by fellow season ticket holders....like I said disappointing. Let me know where you sit, I will apply for a move there.
  14. Clicking the like button on its own it's not good enough...this man has been heavily involved in some of the clubs greatest achievements and looks to be desperate to regain his form. To hear the the fans screaming for Torres to be bought on over Drogba during the Liverpool game was disappointing.
  15. It was a toss up between Ramires and Romeu for me, although, I agree with the comments above and would probably go with Ramires as man of the season so far. I went for Romeu as this was his first Prem start and felt he really made a difference to our play.
  16. Some great posts here, devoid of emotional key tapping. Excellent read!
  17. Did someone fart when Everton scored the 4th?
  18. It would be worth a try, just to see the expression on Fergies gout ridden face when he realised.
  19. That cant be true, I see him cough up hard cash for a ticket on the no. 28 after the Norwich game.
  20. I was intrigued by the earlier posts regarding African footballers claiming to be younger than they really are. It does appear that this is not entirely uncommon. http://nm.onlinenigeria.com/templates/?a=4332&z=12 I look forward to an anti Mikel thread, claiming he is really 58, every time he has a bad game.
  21. The thing that really troubles me here, is that the recurring message in this thread is that Torres is out of form and doesn't suit our style of play, both of which were evident when we paid a record breaking fee for him. I still do not understand how we as a club can justify that kind of risk, lets just hope it eventually pays off.
